What self heal cooldown does Zen have?
I think she doesn’t have a self heal because of her shields and also her 3 mobility options. She now joins Zen and Mercy in the “Supports without self-heal abilities” club
she is in beta right now so she might get some adjustments before the official release
Zenyatta goes back and forth between being accused of overpowered or not, so I don’t think that take is quite right
Also Mercy just avoids damage, that’s her whole shtick
I am pretty rock solid at Lucio mobility and can confidently say that you’re absolutely full of it. Lucio’s escape potential is garbage compared to the burst and vertical mobility that Juno has.
Lucio’s wallriding is great at offensive, planned movement, and at playing “pull the Tiger’s tail”, but with no burst (amp is not burst mobility), and dependence on zone geometry, along with pretty strong predictability, his detach and escape ability isn’t really that high. It’s no Zen, but Juno kills it by a mile. She is closer to Mercy, but without the tether requirements.
Anything designed after the mass exodus from Blizzard is bad. Just accept it.
Health packs and her movement speed should be more than enough to make up for her lack of self heal
Zenyatta was buffed from 200 → 225 hp prior to S9 for several months and left to stay in that state. After the buff from 225 → 275 and the hyper offensive changes to S9, he was in a good state to profit.
One of the highest offensive heroes. One of the highest health pools available to most heroes in a state of the game originally at its weakest for sustained supports.
He got hit by -25hp. Other adjustments lessened to the hyper offensive and abuse tanks become bulkier and he felt out of favor ever since. Zenyatta’s a feast or famine hero. Its precisely why he gets that accusation. The biggest was mostly a complaint about his discord on tanks which got adjusted as a pain point.
She has two decent escape abilities, and because of her shield health, her HP comes back very fast when the healing passive kicks in. So at this point I still feel like it’s a matter of learning to work within her limitations rather than change how she plays.
Yeah she feels very fragile. She can’t win duels, she has no CC, all she can do is run away. She doesn’t feel powerful at all.
It’s not hitscan it’s a very fast projectile
oh noes guys! a support cant out duel a dps!, what ever shall we DOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!, here lemme get my tiny violin
That is why I am not going to main her. She needs your other support to have a brain and therefore you should only ever duo queue with her. Especially with how hard Tracer smashes her.
Literally the most pointless mechanic in game ever since the self heal passive was made reality
Shield hp needs to be reworked into something else
Eh she doesnt have good damage, plus the auto aim kicks in too slow to really help and it’s more likely to be on cooldown since she needs it to heal. So virtually no self defense, damage or healing. Her mobility seems ok but i dont think it’s that hard to track. Overral not enough sustain, damage or chemistry to pair her with a brig bodyguard, I guess there might be a place for her in more self reliant dive comps or with bap in rush but really I think she needs a cooldown buff.
Zen has similar weaknesses but crazy damage to protect himself that she’s not getting from her current mobility. It seems like she’s just going to be a kiriko-esque speed-bot and frankly I’d prefer lucio for his far greater survivability and mobility.
Like Zen, the hero has a shield.
told this multiple times
use your flight and your speed boost. that your defense.
its like DF does not have defense !
Juno is high skill hero
She has passive idle healing, just like everyone else
She’s a mobility hero with a jack-of-all-trades support style. She doesn’t do anything especially well, but when paired with the right teammates, she can whip out all sorts of situational boosts extremely rapidly.
Her ring pairs with Lucio’s speed boost and allows for a mobile way to get multiple slow teammates to cover (and the speed boost makes them harder to hit).
Her ability to fire into a melee and both heal and damage is easier to use than Baptiste’s, with a trade-off that it heals and damages less. But it can do in a pinch.
Her lock-on is a powerful supplement to everyone else’s damage because it enables you to easily finish anyone off just by looking in their general direction. The missiles, once locked-on and fired, travel through cover.
And then there’s the fact that her weird movement abilities can make her very difficult to kill. Strafing around and constantly double-jumping and boosting made me end up in very weird places, tucking into tiny corners and on ledges I had no right to be on, and it got me out of danger and confused everyone I was fighting. I found myself with more survivability than Moira.
Her ult isn’t especially great as far as I can tell, but a moving spotlight that boosts everyone’s damage is pretty okay as a fire-and-forget bonus.
Basically, Juno’s the support you pick if you want to play as an ADHD squirrel. Aim in the general direction of the front lines, launch whatever might work, and constantly double-jump.
Point being Zen gets by with no self heal in combat and no mobility combined with a tragic hitbox
Little miss double jump glide speed booster will be absolutely fine
