I agree. I’ve had some games recently where Tracer is an absolute nightmare. Half the team had to switch to counter her, including myself. I’m partly to blame because my aim is not always on point. But f, she is tiny.

Yeah an unfathomably annoying mosquito of a hero is the epitome of fun.

Come on. Don’t be like that. Tracer is a lot of fun to play, especially when the enemy team gets tilted because they’ve thrown every counter at you and still can’t stop you cuz you’re just that damn good.
I love Tracer but giving her a buff is a recipe for disaster.

The last fall-off change was even noticeable while I was on Pharah. And as a support main I don’t want to roll over and die every time the skinny queen blinks around my team.
Just nerf power creep and she’ll shine like she did years ago

It’s not “free.” If Genji’s target gets healed before he can kill them, then he’s probably screwed because he used his dash in an engagement. Genji’s combos make up for his lack of true burst damage.
Their abilities are all on relatively long cooldowns. Hanzo and Genji have wall climb, but that isn’t always applicable. Tracer can use
her blink any time with very little down time. It really isn’t comparable. The others do have the benefit of verticality, but that’s really the only plus to their mobility vs Tracer’s.
eh not really, blink has been in other games long before ow and recall has been in a few too
hell evie in paladins released first and she has blink and a talent similar to recall
I’m not being like anything that’s how I feel. A hero predicated on being annoying is annoying? Who would have guessed.
Literally every aspect of her is annoying. She’s frustrating in the same way Doomfist’s CC is annoying.
The point I’m getting at with this whole topic is that I can’t imagine a meta where Tracer becomes easier to play. Dive meta was a long time ago, and the game has only gotten more difficult for the average Tracer player. Not to mention that back in dive meta Tracer wasn’t even in the top 10 hero picks in any rank under Masters, so she wasn’t even used that much during her so call “prime days”. So how is she going to be used at all today without any buffs, when there’s a lot more going against her?
SSB is the only player in OWL who can play Tracer for multiple rounds with good results, because SBB is a great player and he’s supported by a great team (JJonak, WHORU), not because Tracer is a great hero. I can’t remember seeing any other player picking Tracer for more then one round in OWL, most players switch off Tracer in the first round. They want to play Tracer because they know they should be able to get value out of her, but she’s so easy to shut down for so many different heroes right now. You don’t even need to counter pick against Tracer, there’s always one Tracer counter on your team by default.
If dive meta actually becomes viable again, Tracer will not be a top picked hero. A lot has happened since the last dive meta three years ago. We’re playing in a 2/2/2 comp now, and there are better heroes to fill in those two spots.

tracer doesnt need buffs. a lot of heroes need nerfs though.
the problem is that the devs want new support players to be able to counter tracer smurfs for free. its why the game hasnt been balanced in years.

Tracer is really obnoxious in skilled hands right now, I really don’t want her buffed 
I’m beginning to recognise that’s the whole basis of most counter arguments in this topic. I don’t blame you or anyone ells for feeling that way though, I’m the same whenever I play against Genji, but being annoying doesn’t make a hero good (which is best proved with Sombra).

She’s fine imho, she just hasn’t had a meta that favours her which is ok. We had goats w Brig, bunker and now Rein/Dva/Mei meta which are big counters to her too with shatter, defense matrix and Mei right click can headshot kill! Also Moira sees a lot play too, she’s a soft counter to Tracer. Heroes that pair well with her aren’t meta either so that probably contributes to her lack of playtime
Just because a hero isn’t meta currently doesn’t mean they need buffs
“It’s not her meta” is the second most used counter argument haha, but Tracer hasn’t been meta since dive three years ago. Even if dive was to come back today, we’re playing in a 2/2/2 comp where Doomfist, Genji, and Sombra are much better duo picks then Tracer is, as they can get multiple kills or set up the team. So I don’t believe Tracer would get played very much at all in a dive meta today.
