Yeah fair, but if the enemy Roadhog is popping I expect to see a swap to Ana seeing as he’s a problem to warrant it. I know DPS can’t do that much about it.

all it is, is a shorter match of overwatch, nothing casual here. no clue where you got that idea from.
i play since beta and it never said casual.

I understand that the Ana change makes sense, but even for me, if enemy tank has Hog and support doesn’t wante to change to Ana, I mean, as long as they try, cool.
BUT, if after the first round/fight THEY complain about the other members of the team for losing the round/fight AND THEY don’t switch to Ana, yes, that’s on them for complaining AND not doing something to fix it. In that case or similar I woud say something to supports.

yes it doesn’t specifically say casual. But unlike you, apparently, some people don’t need it spelled out. When there is the COMPETITIVE MODE, literally one tab over. It’s very obvious, the rest of the modes in the game, are CASUAL.

If you want to take the context of all time and space then sure nothing matters, where are we going? Where did we come from? What does it all mean? Where is Jeff Kaplan?
But I’m just a simple gamer and prefer the more humble, and perhaps relevant, context of Overwatch, where we have a competitive mode where winning objectively does matter.
Then I refer you to the dev blog where they talk about sweaty games of quick play (paraphrasing). It’s not a “do whatever” mode. It’s in the Unranked category for a reason, clearly - otherwise they’d’ve just put it in Arcade and been done with it.

Look at my original post again, I don’t think it’s a do whatever mode. Just reflecting on the fact that there are no actual stakes. I do expect people to play the game but I dont expect people to always comm, track ults, play meta etc. because that is an expectation for the true competitive gamemode.
QP is play to win, but it doesnt matter if you don’t. That’s a casual competition and the looser matchmaking reflects that.
can you define casual vs competetive for me?
because i see no difference, trying to win in a pvp game in a full match or half match of overwatch…
am i not allowed ro look like i am trying? am i supposed to allow my enemies to roll me?
am I allowed to swap if i have 0kills and 10 deaths?
what defines casual because for me theres no difference. people actually try to tell me they would play any better in comp are liars. if not they are intenrionally throwing imho.
there is no, do what you want, winning is not an option mode. and people get upsed qp has bad mm but then say its a casual mode, why does it then need to be serious with good mm if nobody cares anyway about the match? why does it matter when others counter swap you in a “casual” mode. its casual just take the L and go next.
unless its not casual and just a shorter version of overwatch games.
It’s time people vet the game with their actions.
If you keep playing the game, the devs are just going to continue doing the same crap.

They also said that they wouldn’t add a true unranked mode because they knew the people who take quickplay seriously wouldn’t queue for the mode they actually wanted to play. 
Not that it should come as a surprise to anyone given the predicament we are in. It surprised me that they noticed, however. I thought they were extremely dumb. Now I understand they were just pretending to be dumb.

Even if quick play, leaving the game ruins it for everyone. The losing team just stays in the base and can’t play. The winning team stays afk at the door. You share a lobby with 9 other players, your leaving ruins it for 9 other players. There has to be punishment for this. If you can’t take “wasting your time” or losing, don’t play.
Comp is also a game, can I use this excuse there?
