It's impossible to enjoy playing Overwatch

I do my best every game. I expect my team to do the same. And even the enemy.

So, label a try hard or not, idc. And I apply this same logic to arcade, comp, and qp.

If everyone is doing their best, then it will be a fun game. You’ll have those great combos. Those skill shots.

If it’s just a steamroll from either side, it’s not fun.

If you want anti-try hard things going on, I advise custom games.

Well, if the uber competitive side of things isn’t fun for you, there’s always VS AI or custom games. You could also try using the Looking for Group forum to find people who are of a similar mindset so you can all support each other while playing and give each other opportunities to play new characters.

Love the game. Despise the people.

At this point, I leave any chat I can, and just do my own thing. I still try to win, but the toxicity, especially on EU servers, is out of control.

tf2 never been that way also. well I guess only the fan servers, which is what browsing can be too.

I don’t know about you ,but I never felt pressured or felt like trying hard to win a match in tf2.

ever.

i completely agree it’s not fun anymore

here is some advice… don’t play comp . or better yet do what I do
play 4 matches of DM then 1 match of QP then play 2 of comp
you won’t care as much if you have SOME FUN before depressing yourself over ranked
ppl WHINE about this game too much have you played any fighting games before ranked in those games is scary imagine getting stomped by a pro at least in this game you have a chance

I completely agree. The elitism and competitiveness has really hurt Overwatch a lot.

I never really played competitive (apart from my placement games in 3 of the seasons). But the elitism and competitiveness follows you into quickplay too… I mean, I’ve been told to go kill myself for being a Mercy one-trick in a quickplay game.

I mean the logical thing to do if a game isn’t fun anymore for you is to take a break and come back after a few weeks once you miss it. Doing anything day in day out will eventually lead to boredom.
