Go play flanking Reinhardt for 20 games and closely observe what happens to your rank.
If you consistently get matched with people who are playing their hero/role terribly wrong, maybe you should start looking where you can improve your own gameplay so you improve your rank and separate yourself from those people
The longer the experimental card was out there, the closer the Q times came to the ones of Ranked and QP.
Everyone wanted to try the buffed Tanks, but the hype didn’t even last a week.
Now count in that most Tank and Support players seem to dislike 1/3/2.
You can’t solve the Q time problem by making playing Tank and Support even less appealing.
I think I’m done waiting queues. I just realized that for the first time since 2016 I’m not having fun with this fantastic game. I spend most of my time in the practice range waiting for a match. Yesterday I actually spent more time in queue than playing.
I’ll find something else to play, but I’ll check the forums from time to tim to see if they managed to fix this bs.
Sombra may be that easy to interrupt on PC, but I play on console where, unless you’re using a keyboard & mouse (which is cheating on consoles), you do not have time to turn around and interrupt the hack.
And if you’re playing shield tank, then you really shouldn’t be turning around in the first place!
Honestly 222 favors more dps than 132. 222 just gives bad tanks a bubble of security and focus’s more heavily on the dps actions where as 132 gives tanks a fighting chance if you are good.
What are your team mates doing? After the first hack or so they should be checking flanks.
Hell they should already be doing that because of Doomfist, Genji and Tracer which if allowed to surprise the team are just as if not more dangerous than Sombra
If you’re that hell be on bringing Valorant up, just go play CS:GO. It is a literal replica of CS:GO. Even the “abilities” they advertised are what the grenades is CS:GO do, just with more flashy colors.
It is a carbon copy of another game that already exists. Why wait to play it when you already can?
Then you bought the wrong game, because that’s exactly what Overwatch is and was intended to be. The fact that their most highlighted hero is a knight with a war hammer and no gun should’ve been a clear indication of that.
If they said the majority of feedback for 1-3-2 was negative, why would they implement a mode that most disliked just for a few that did…? Instead of driving away some players for Valorant, let’s drive away most of our community with 1-3-2 instead! Then queue times aren’t a problem for any role!
As a tank main I have no problem with 1-3-2 IF they move the off tanks to dps. Otherwise you’re just completely killing the off tank role. DVA, Road Hog with AOE, and even multi bubble Zarya still aren’t as viable a main tank as a Rein, Winston, or a rebuffed Orisa. They will just be considered throw picks. I think it’s about time we separated the main tank and off tank roles anyway. They are two completely different roles with little crossover, and they seem to be played by two different types of gamers. Games would be better with true Reinhardt mains instead of Road Hog mains that got pressured to play Rein.
It’s not. The guy is saying over and over to implement the mode, so I made a rebuttal as to why it shouldn’t.
If a majority of the feedback was negative, it would be a bad idea to implement 1-3-2 like he is saying for them to do.
Edit: were you thinking I was asking why it was ever in the game at all? I wasn’t talking about it being in experimental. I’m talking about if they implemented it into the main game like QP and comp.
Yeah, my bad. I misunderstood. You are right. 1-3-2 was a disaster and should never implemented in the way it was presented. That said, dps queue times are a major problem and they need to do something. I couldn’t imagine queuing for 10 minutes to play a game.
There isn’t a lot Blizzard can do at this point. They have already made the MMR system more lenient to alleviate some queue time issues, which really impacted how matches feel. 1-3-2 seems like it was a bust. What do they do? Making the matchmaker even more lenient is a terrible idea and there isn’t anything else they can do with 2-2-2 but that to help.
Is it an inherently flawed game then? It requires role queue to be played how it was intended, but 2 out of the three roles aren’t very enticing to play.
