It still won’t let me play overwatch

Howdy!

LC-202 is a general disconnection or unable to connect error. I’d recommend to troubleshoot this issue:

Step 1) Power Cycle the home network, this will refresh your connection to your Internet Service Provider, and the connection of your internal devices within the home. Note during the Power Cycle make sure to shut down the console and unplug it from the wall this will clear its cache at the same time.

Step 2) Your connection to your Internal router is very important. From a Settings stand point we do want to ensure of the following:

  • NAT settings are set to “Open”
  • Ports are all forwarded at the router level for the game and console.
We do not directly support routers as there are just too many in the world to offer general steps for. We do use a third-party site that does a great job at helping our community with these steps, here is a direct link to their Overwatch Console article: How To Open Ports in Your Router for Overwatch

NOTE: If you need help with port forwarding on your router you can contact the provider of the router device itself. If provided by your ISP they will support helping with this, if the device was purchased the manufacturer can assist.

Step 3) A common issue we see from console users are unstable Wi-Fi connections. We do recommend if possible to go Wired even if it’s just to rule out a Wifi issue. Unstable Wi-Fi connections, can be addressed by the ISP in a lot of different ways.

Please note that we do not support mobile cellular networks, the connection should be provided by a landline based Internet Service Provider that provides broadband speeds or greater.

Thank you.
