It’s just a placeholder.
yeah… something like
SEITE AN SEITE
translates to:
Side by side. The nations of the earth are getting attacked. The omnic forces of Null Sector have started a number of suprise attacks on the whole world, and the governments and armies of the planet were easily defeated. Now the rest of the fearless soldiers, once called Overwatch, are fighting back.
interesting may be stuff like this:
Spieler können entscheiden, ob sie lieber Reinhardts Feuerschlag aufwerten wollen, sodass er Gegner in der Nähe entzündet, oder die Geschwindigkeit seiner Hammerschwünge erhöhen wollen
translates to:
Players can decide if they want to upgrade Reinhardt’s firestrike, so that he burns his enemies, or the speed of his hammer swings
I only remember the firestrike burn and epicenter of Reinhardt. Did they show something that Reinhardt can upgrade his hammer swing speed?
Don’t some game stores put up preorders for games that are simply confirmed to be coming out "one day"™?
This could be a case like that, with a placeholder default price
The price is propably just a priceholder. On the website it says, if the price lowers between order and release, you’ll get the game for the lowered price. Soooo propably no 70€.
At least I hope so
I think it will cost this much only to people who are buying OW for the first time to existing owner i am sure they will have cheaper price to upgrade.
Preorders are usually overpriced as hell so I’m not bothered by the price lol.
Wait… So you think it’s
60$/€ for new players and maybe 30-45$/€ for Ow1 players
like… a season pass upgrade or someting?
ya , i think it must be $40 for OW1 owners.
Oh, just realised that Game also has a preorder version of Overwatch 2.
For me it’s £54.99
For preorder, that’s actually not bad at all.
I mean it better be, because otherwise its going to be a flop. A huge one.
I still wouldn’t be pre-ordering a game we have Zero UPDATES on. We don’t know if they are even serious about it, tbh.
They said they’re very serious about it when it was first announced. Also, what AAA company isn’t serious about a sequel?
Pre-ordering in general is not a good idea but it’s pretty unfair to move as if it’s only bad when it’s a Blizzard game.
I’ll consider buying it once we know EXACTLY what is included that regular OW1 players dont get.
I still think its going to very lack luster, specially if they charge full price.
Blizzard has scrapped ideas before. LOTS of times.
… Project titan.
… The Emerald dream. (rumors)
What? We don’t know anything about those games. That’s not comparable to OW2 which we know a lot about already. The reason why people feel as though they’re getting zero updates on it is because Blizzard gave us all the information on it all at once.
Seems like a scummy thing to do.
This is the about section. If true their are a few new details. But some words don’t translate over.
SIDE BY SIDE
The nations of the earth are under attack. The Zero Sector Omnic forces launched a series of surprise attacks around the world, and the planet’s governments and armies were quickly overpowered. Now the remains of the fearless combat force, once known as Overwatch, are facing the attackers. In this new era of crisis, the heroes of the world must now decide whether to answer the call and reunite to serve the world as a symbol of hope.
Overwatch 2 is the global sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s acclaimed team-based game. It builds on the battle-proven foundation of the original game and carries everything players have achieved into a new era of epic competition and teamwork. In addition to action-packed battles in PvP game modes, players can explore the universe of Overwatch in a completely new way in fully cooperative missions. The heroes of the world must unite here and face numerous threats all over the planet.
HEROES AND Villains RISE IN CO-OP MISSIONS
In action-packed, collaborative story missions, players will experience the dawn of a new era of Overwatch as Winston, Tracer and other well-known members of Overwatch team up with a new generation of heroes. Players actively intervene in the next chapter of the Overwatch saga, which spans a series of exciting missions for 4 players. In these missions, players take on the roles of different heroes and jointly defend the world from zero sector, uncover the background of the omnic attacks and face new threats all over the planet.
The fight continues with hero missions, in which heroes go to their limits on missions around the world, defending cities against robotic attacks, eliminating Talon elite agents and fighting the evil forces that threaten the world. In this high replay mode, players can level up with their heroes and unlock powerful customization options that enhance their skills and give them an edge against seemingly overpowering opponents. Players can choose to upgrade Reinhardt’s fire strike so that he ignites nearby enemies, or increase the speed of his hammer turns. Or they modify Mei’s endothermic radiator so that frozen enemies take more damage and break into deadly ice chips. There are countless possibilities.
A NEW ERA OF EPIC TEAM FIGHTING
Overwatch 2 marks the dawn of a new era for Overwatch’s world-famous 6v6 battle. Not only will all heroes, cards and game modes from the original game - including achievements and collections from Overwatch - be adopted, Overwatch 2 will expand the ever-growing one Hero roster with several new playable heroes, enriches the world with even more maps in new locations and introduces the new map type boost, in which two teams fight to guide a robot to their respective destination. The sequel to the game also has an improved user interface with upgrades for graphics and game engine that bring the battlefields of the earth and the beloved heroes to life with even more details.
Overwatch 2 also underlines Blizzard’s promise to continue supporting the Overwatch community. Overwatch players will be able to fight side-by-side with Overwatch 2 players in PvP multiplayer modes. In addition, Overwatch players also have access to Overwatch 2’s heroes and maps, so the community’s PvP experience remains dynamic even in the Overwatch 2 era
Are you for real? £54.99 is “actually not bad at all”!?!?
No way in hell would I pay anywhere near £55 for OW2.
No … way … in … hell.
Oof you really did it
Might be a typo or something, the new mode is not “boost”, it’s called “push”
I just did google translate. They also say zero sector instead of null sector.
