The only viable form of communication on console is to verbally talk.That being said there are a surprisingly high amount of people who do not talk at all/ we cant message them through PS4 because they also have messaging blocked. It made the ability to see what they played a lot easier because we had a general idea of what they played. If we see that someone is for example a Zarya main, or generally only plays tank and everyone else auto locked a role we could just look at his profile and make proper adjustments. If we had two OT’s on the same team it gave us time to negotiate who played what.
When communication is already severely limited on console this just makes things more difficult/more of a gamble.
