Yeah. Just reverting it would dumpster him because his kit is terrible. And it can’t be buffed to be not terrible or it would be one of the most oppressive things we’ve ever seen in this game. The reason High Noon is bad is because it’s an infinite range teamwipe at max power. Such a thing obviously must be easy to counter. That’s why he is forced to have a ridiculous gun to make up for it.

Not sure if he’s OP, but he’s very viable.
I can’t recall the actual reason behind it but I remember back in around 2016 early on after the game was released how people started to realize how powerful he was. If I remember well that was back when he could essentially solo 2 Tanks without much effort.

He’s supposed to be a glass cannon hero but now… less.
He’s buffed in order to keep up with Hanzo & Doomfist, but Hanzo & Doomfist got nerfed previously. Thus, Mccree fire rate can be toned down a bit.

I always said that Mccree is borderline op ever since his fire rate is faster. Since he doesnt have good mobility, his firerate makes him deadly and that helps him secure kills faster. I honestly dont think they should nerf it. But if they do nerf his firerate I wouldnt be opposed.

Overpowered I can’t really say… but i definitely blame the fire rate. Flashbang + fth combo is one of the worst things to die to but I can live with it, his fire rate is just definitely too much alongside it. I die to good McCree’s faster than I realise he’s even there

Just needs a fire rate revert, that’s it. No +50 hp or any compensation, he would still be viable just not as bad.

They should replace his revolver with a machinegun.
It will more suitable with the rate of fire and damage output he is able to do atm.

I personally believe he would just outrageously suck if they got rid of it and they would inevitably give him compensation later down the line regardless. So I am down with just the revert at first so we can see the drop first hand.

he is so broken.
right now he is the top one dps picksrate on all ranks and he is a good pick against all playstyles. there is not any reason to pick any dps than mcreee. maybe only mei.

the stun is not the problem. i can accep a mcree strong on close range and decent on mid range.
but right now mcree is strong on close range and very strong on mid range to… he counter a lot of heros on the game. and he is also a good choice against shields and tanks…

No he is fine, his skill curve is great, no reason to touch him. The only reason he is meta is because the other top dps got nerfed.

He is quite strong, but I’d argue that his strength probably has a lot to do with the strength of Mei, who slows the game down and shuts down dive heroes that he’d be vulnerable to.
