Okay seriously though, its described as blue, but in reality, its purplish in color as her blood does not pump enough oxygen due to the low metabolism.

From an artist perspective, She’s a desaturated purple base tone with a hue shift to a darker blue as it gets to the shadows. and the deep shadows are a saturated dark blue. so she’s technically both. but because her shading is mostly blue. she seems blue. but in the right lighting that purple undertone shows itself. and our brain can choose to either say blue or purple. if your using her default skin. the brain can also take the purple of her outfit next to her skin. and just register her skin as a light purple. so depending on the skin you’ll visually see a different colored skin.
