It seems like the devs are contemplating a rework for Torb judging by their schedule on heroes to be looked at. Would they ever remove his Turret fully or replace it with a different turret altogether?
I’ve grown fond of the little Swedish gnome lol I would hate to see his kit flushed or altered severely.

Was thinking about giving the option to choose between two types of Turrets, other being like a cannon like a Pirate’s.
Else just buff Armor Packs and His Rivet Gun.

I’m concerned since I enjoy playing him quite a bit in QP. And they haven’t been very clear on Torb but they have mentioned the other heroes in the line up for looks.
I just hope that after the rework that I won’t regret having had purchased his golden gun.

Jeff said in a developer update video that they’re looking at all the heroes all the time… whatever specific data they look at might result in a particular hero getting a priority focus…there’s no"schedule," it’s as I just said, data may have them look closer at a particular hero…I haven’t heard anything official abo seeut Torb, and, especially with this community, I’d shy away from any conjecture.
For me, nothing is anything until there’s a blue post, Dev update video, or Jeff doing an interview. It’s decidedly dangerous to rely on General Discussion Forum Posters as a source.

Torb really needs access to the High Ground…
He needs to compete with Junkrat with this as a Defense Hero.
I wouldn’t be mind having a jetpack as torb. plus I would be able to give pharah a run for her money :3

I would actually love if his turret could be placed on walls or ceilings! Could add an element of surprise and make him more viable in more maps.
I don’t think he will be getting such major changes.
They have no interest of changing too much how the hero plays.

Symmetra didn’t change that much. They added more stuff to her kit but the things that she already had remained almost the same.
