5v5 clearly does not work. Cause a hero with higher stats, equal or higher dmg is not a tank. A tank is a class that absorbs dmg and protects the team at the expense of dmg.

killing floor 2 still 8 years later has the same size player base, tf2, left4dead is gaining again, counter strike and so many other great games.
we just live in a disposable culture, where instead of loving out old pants, people get told to buy the next thing
The tank buffs definitely made the game worse.
Even the best games get stale after a while. Not everyone can sustain their interest with the same gameplay over and over. People move on to more fertile fields once they’ve stripped the nutrients from their current soil.
meanwhile there was such a desire for wow classic it’s been relevant for 20 years and speed runners and their viewers still do the same thing each day for hundreds of games, and people are on their 1000 hour of elden ring, and, and, and i have like i dont even know how many hours in minecraft even though we only get 1 update a year, while people… well im guessing you get the idea by now. right?

good farmers, like good games, rotate their crops so that the waste from the previous becomes new nourishment for the next crop, just play tank ffs, then goto support
