I’m coming back in fps since a really long break and i can’t aim sh*t.
For some reason I’m still put in lobby with platinum players when I struggle to hit DVA when we’re both not moving. I’m kinda tired of loss streak before I can play with people of my own level.
It’d be better to hop into QP and take any hits than start a new account, to be honest. It’s not like there’s any matchmaking in QP anyway, so making a new account seems like a lot of unnecessary work.
If you feel like faffing about with an aim trainer, I would recommend this Workshop mode: JPYHG
If you don’t know how to use the code:
Click on Play on the main menu.
Click on Custom Games.
Look for the + Create button on the top right and click on it.
Click on Settings, and then the Import Code button. For some reason it doesn’t have text; it’s next to a button with an icon of a floppy disk.
Here is my replay code of how bad this game is really getting

I have no clue why on earth they think they need leaver penalties for Quickplay modes when this level of stomps is happening often. and by players that are not appropriately of equal skill rating being forced to play against a team of much higher skill sets.
Old quickplay seamed to have much better control to at least allow players to be in a better margin of match making. After the release of “2” it become waaaaaaaaaay worse.
if “2 minutes” in off-peak hours, needs to happen to build a better match. fair.
Yeah, it’s pretty much luck of the draw. There’ll be days when I get good, close games in QP. And then there’ll be days when every match is like this:
If you get three or four blowouts in a row I’d recommend simply closing the game down for the day and doing something else.
Also something else to consider: if you haven’t done Comp yet in season nine, there are placements because of the rank reset. I had a week where not only did I have a free calendar, but my health held up, so I went in there and did placements for both tank and support.
I think it’s only right and fair that I warn you: those placement matches were absolute torture. Worse than QP. Terrible. If you haven’t already put yourself through that, I really, really wouldn’t. Better to stick to QP because if you end up in a stomp, it can end relatively quickly or even change when someone leaves and is replaced by a better player.
I do like what you posted. but there should be zero reason for a 4-in-a-row hard-loss. and a person shouldn’t have to close the game down because blizzard isn’t doing their job right.
The main people complaining about “q times” are the people that seam to be in the much greater ranks than average players. Thats what Most of the ones here seamed to be was open profile players that were masters, GM, and top 500s.
If they are going to build the match, at the very least they need to mix the players better and open up the 6th slot again to balance out the match so we aren’t getting steam rolls nearly as bad.
with 5, the system can only pull 2 players max that were high performing, and put them on the other team vs all 5 on one team, with 6 they could still have 3 per team that performed well.
I did my placement matches and had so many awful uncalibrated players, throwers and smurfs, I went from low masters to low plat. I quit comp. Matchmaking is abysmal.
Yes it is. It is the reason I stopped playing and I was here since launch of OW 1. It really affects people on the lower end of the skill tree such as myself.
i do think they made it quicker by just laxing the matchmaking or basically just throwing anyone into a game to make it quicker when overwatch 2 released. in a way i like it no matter if there are stomps since i rather be playing than waiting lol (as a dps of course)
My friends and I thought the same. We went on last night and tonight and we’re going against GMs. It’s odd. It’s always bad, but this weekend seems… exceptionally bad? Idk. It seems a little better tonight.
