I ask this because the new heroes we’ve gotten, 3 of them have been very similar to the already in game heroes.
Orisa - primary fire is a bastion turret form, shield is rein, pull ability is zarya grav, ult is mercy damage boost beam
Moira - primary (secondary? idk which one damages or heals i never thought about it) fire is weaker but longer sym beam, Healing/damage orbs are variations of Zen orbs, ult is like a zarya beam with longer range that can heal
Brigitte - shield like rein, armor/repair pack like torb, ult is similar to torb’s ult as in torb gains a lot of armor and brigitte gives people 100 armor over a set amount of time
Sym’s rework is basically a new hero but with variations in sym’s current kit. Primary fire is zarya, ult is rein but almost 3x the health and infinite size, teleporter is less powerful and less health like idk but it makes sense since we’re supposed to get the new hero in June and we’re getting sym rework in June
No not at all, sym is already in the game its just a rework, like hanzos. Doomfist and sombra dont have similarities.
Also when did someone say the new hero was in june
New heroes probably gunna be mid/late July if Blizzard keep releasing new heroes every 4 months like they have ever since Sombra.
They did all the stuff they do for a new hero, for Symmetra. New sound effects, new visuals, new voice lines new abiltiies. Idk I feel like they might try to use her as a new addition. Also hero releases line up.
They did that all for hanzo too that doesn’t mean he is a new hero

Moiras beam is not a longer sym beam. Symmetra has a lockon (Hard to attach, difficult to unnattach), Moira has a static area of effect in front of her. The only similarity is the visual feedback

I’M BORED these forums are just people complaining about ‘oh this hero is OP nerf them so i can 1v6 freely’ or ‘my main is underpowered I demand buffs (this is towards ana mains)’ i think general discussion should be about more than demanding things from the devs.
Isn’t SYM going to be the new Brigitte/shield killer? Like she gets bonus for hitting shield/armor I heard? IDK maybe just rumors. They are also giving her a big damage boost but no tracking.
No bounce just she can charge her damage up on barriers
