Is spraying "sorry" and crouch spamming after you make a play really considered toxic?

Man if you kids played halo back in the day you might actually have a heart attack…

It’s not toxic at all.

Don’t pay any heed to people who like to be offended for a living.

Not toxic - but poor sportsmanship

It’s biblically toxic.

Yes. “Toxic” is a completely nebulous, meaningless term. Anything anyone dislikes can be considered “toxic”. That’s the point. That’s why trying to govern how people are allowed to play based on a buzzword like “toxic” is completely idiotic and coming back to bite devs who saw it as an opportunity to soapbox.

The word “toxic” is tossed around so much that it’s lost any worthwhile meaning. I got called toxic for merely disagreeing with someone once.

Honestly, at this point I just cringe a little whenever someone genuinely uses the word nowadays.

Well I don’t report such behaviour. But I don’t think it’s positive behaviour either.

I think toxic is an overused phrase.

Oh ok I gotcha. Not toxic but using in game chat to spam is still, well, spam, but beyond that I’d say no

Nah, that’s a polite teabag.

Of course that’s toxic, but only overwatch players get butthurt about it because they’ve all gone soft. That’s tame by any other fps standard
