Is playing Sombra in QP sweaty?

I’m just playing my hero and I get a lot of sweat accusations when I’m not even playing that well. Is Sombra inherently sweaty? Is it a playstyle thing?

What feels sweaty to you in QP?

She’s the character most people switch to when they sniped by widow or getting dominated by doomfist/WB, counterswapping feels like sweaty behaviour

No, it’s not. Playing what you want to play is what QuickPlay is for. If you want to play Sombra then play Sombra. Just have fun.

I’m not counterswapping though, Sombra is what I roll out on.

Honestly, if I wanna swap I swap.

Dunno what’s people’s problem with it, swap too I guess? Not that hard honestly.

Imo it’s only sweaty if you’re on Sombra specifically to spawn camp.
Normal Sombra play isn’t inherently sweaty, annoying but not sweaty.
If you’ve swapped picks a few time and gone Sombra they’re probably calling the countering sweaty, not Sombra specifically.

She’s disliked, but I take her out fine.

To all the people in this thread who hate counterswapping:

Do you just want me and my team to accept that we’re going die to widow on repeat?

It’s funny because I’m trying to finish the WoW challenges so I swapped to Sombra against a good widow in quick play.

The chat interaction upon my swap:

them: Sombraaaaaaaaaaaa

Me: Widowwwwwwww

Them: Grrrrrrrrrr

They proceeded to swap off widow and I honored it by getting off Sombra. I’m a Sombra player but in that game I was having fun on a different hero prior to that interaction. But like I said- dying to widow on repeat isn’t fun

I play Sombra in Quick Play, if the game decides I play DPS for the round. Which is hardly ever.

Anyway, I live in Alaska and have 90 latency on average. So, if I have play against people who have a latency advantage, they can play against me getting the first hit off in almost every engagement.

No, please swap to Sombra and eviscerate that Smurfette wannabe. You have my blessing. FINISH HER!

Unless it’s to counter a Widow, an annoying Wrecking Ball or another Sombra, yes.

Ppl playing/ swapping to sombra is straight SALT, and admitting they suck at the game and only option is sombra. Legit how i see it

Most of people plays Sombra cuz she’s a fun hero to play.
If you are sweaty you only pick her to hardcounter someone, otherwise she is not very strong.

When you pick Sombra you’re already countering most of the support role.

It’s not fun being put in a position where you either:

  1. Depend on your team for peel
  2. Switch to Moira, Brig, or Kiriko
  3. Die

Bonus annoyance points when it happens round after round after round…

That’s true, as a support main I’m aware of the pain I inflict on others as it has been inflicted on me. :pensive:

I would run my true DPS main Sym but she hasn’t been viable since the Pleistocene era.

Same experience. I pick Sombra before the match has even started, I show my face and “Get off Sombra, it’s QP”

The proper title should read:

Is playing Sombra sweaty?

The answer is yes. Playing Sombra is always a sweaty play.

The upside here is never having to pay for sauna! :muscle:
