You probably wouldn’t mind having a hammer only Torb, or a Dva who de-mechs on purpose so she can only play mini Dva as dps on your team then? Dps Mercy is just as big of a throw pick as those are.
I’m so done with some of the Mercy players on this game at this point.
I mean, there’s no shortage of dps heroes to pick from. Dps class is like, what, 3-4 times bigger than support class?
So yeah, if you pick a support then just dps, yer trolin. Not to mention you’re actually takin’ up one of the support slots from a player who could actually support and heal.
If they do a better job than the heroes whose job it is to get kills, how is it throwing?
I’d be thrilled to see any of my examples do any better than the ‘‘actual’’ dps. Maybe the dpses can’t get anything done because they have a literal thrower on their team?
I’ll report anyone who refuses to use their abilities to their full potential, in any case. Because it is blatant gameplay sabotage.

Tf yes. What do you mean cant play normal mercy well but performs well at dps mercy. Then play a dps that is a totally good at DPS so your team doesnt suffer from both the lack of a healer and a reliable DPS.
Like in competitive pokemon using HP tank as a special sweeper. Just honking ya self.

If you “carry” as Mercy by shooting at stuff, then why block a support slot, when you could go Soldier or Cree instead?
It’s like being really good ad digging holes and then using a spoon to do it…
Sorry, but except from whipping your gun out in very specific situations where you are like the “3rd guy in” and no one needs critical healing, or for self-defence, I’d definitely consider this “soft throwing” and report you for poor team play.
Because there is no such thing as a “support slot” in this game.

This was a joke part of the nature of “but they’re trying to win and using part of their kit!” showing that people will report a Hammer torb but “well Mercy is fine it’s part of her kit”

No, it’s not bannable.
It’ll just get you flamed a lot because Mercy pistol is secondary weapon. Try creating a 3 stack using LFG to support your playstyle.
It’s a forum thing that gives you different / more abilities. Idk everything that goes into it though, you may want to make a thread asking more from more people who can help
Honestly with how Mercy is right now it is far more fun to play battle mercy as it feels like you do more.
We should be asking if it is bannable to heal as mercy
Also I think the devs will say no to both but the automatic ban system might ban you anyway because of the quantity
