Overwatch Classic launched with 6v6 and every character in their OG state, and I’m wondering if this is some sort of psyop.
Think about it: like over half of the community has been going “bring back 6v6” since the launch of Overwatch 2 to where Blizzard kept doubling down till a couple months ago.
Now to experiment with 6v6, they bring “Overwatch: Classic”, a 6v6 experience like patch 1.0. The gameplay is certainly less refined and somewhat clunkier compared to now, but that’s where the psyop question is posed.
Did Blizzard purposefully create “classic” just to gaslight people into thinking 6v6 is a bad idea because “if we bring back 6v6, the game will have patch 1.0 jank”?

they made it very clear this is separate from the 6v6 tests. if anything this is to test how 6v6 works on the new engine.

No they’re doing more serious tests in season 14 like 2-2-2
These 3 weeks are purely for nostalgia reasons and for reliving the history of the game

Totally a psyop and none of us are real we are just a collection of AI bots and crisis actors. Overwatch players are the main character of their story and everything the company does is to gaslight them and train them!
