Facing a good lifeweaver as Winston is the most rage inducing thing I’ve encountered in awhile. You can’t kill something fast enough that isn’t going to get pulled away and saved, and if you try to dive the bastard, he has too much health, heals himself too much, and then just petals away.
I hate him so much…
Both of them have incredibly stupid interactions.
One of them you’re just forced to watch as they come out of the ground and get to do damage to you for free because there’s no interaction to be had, and then there’s the other one that gets to undo all of someone’s effort at the press of a singular button again with no interaction to be had because to all hell with reasonable balance, I guess.
If it really comes down to it, Lifeweaver is the worst character design to me. A bad Lifeweaver or a troll Lifeweaver, hell, even a good Lifeweaver, just ruins the entirety of the game for me. 
Not at all I love LW. Venture is meh to me. But worst OW2 hero is mauga by miles. A dual wielding bastion Gatling gun that shoots to sustain so just pump 100s of bullets Into the tank.
Venture has low pickrate but is not “bad” venture reaper moira zarya Kiri , and no. One . Dies . U can swap in mei , u either fade , tp , suzu , bubble , wraith dig or ice block wall. He’s also a solid sym counter where sometimes you might see a phara struggle
EASILY it’s Lifeweaver, close behind is Mauga. Both are just fundamentally flawed characters.
I agree with the other comments on how promising Aqua looks, and how terribly Symmetra is designed.
I’d say Illari has been the least impactful and loved hero launched in OW2 so far. She’s far less popular than LW for sure and far less beloved than pretty much any of the other OW2 heroes. She probably could give Sojourn a run for people not really being into the hero while Sojourn at least is played often for a fun kit and had some lore importance.
And I’m not saying this as a Illari hater, I personally don’t hate her. But she seems to be the least popular of the OW2 launches. I think the gloomy and miserable direction they took her character didn’t help her get much traction. Freja also is suffering from being just being a bland grump, but her kit is keeping people interested and her ties with Emre.
I agree that Illari’s lore is bland, but I like her set and gameplay, sadly in last time she uneffective thanks to damage nerfs.
I think, to be beloved the hero should be popular. Cause I didn’t see memes, arts about Hanzo who the DPS which mostly has lowest pickrate. All Illari’s character reveal is based on interactions with other heroes.
They had a great opportunity to reveal her story starting with the Christmas, tale “Together” where Soldier was waiting Illari. But they rejected this opportunity by going straight to Sombra/Soldier story in “Lucky man”. Illari was again ignored.
And also community hates Illari, I mean playing against her, not the lore. I’ll repeat it. For some reason community tolerant for Ana’s 3 bodyshots to kill which takes 1.8 seconds, but rejects 3 bodyshots for Illari which takes 50% more time – 2.7 seconds…
Damn, Illari’s only one non-basic (heal/damage) utility is the pylon, when it is destroyed Illari so unreliable as healer for further 12-15 seconds. She even hasn’t so broken things like nade and sleep.
A real double-faced community
Venture is healthier version of DPS Doomfist.
Lifeweaver is bad as it promotes healbotting. His whole kit mostly ruin Tank kills.
Both are good and strong.
Lifeweaver is strong? In which game?
He’s like Brig. Most of his value doesn’t show up in the scoreboard.
Except Brig shows up quite a lot in T500 leaderboards unlike Lifeweaver

That’s because he’s the worst
LWs great and is only a healbot if you don’t know how to play him. His kit encourages a hugely high skill ceiling as well as a bunch of foresight as to what will happen in the next 10 seconds, where your teammates will want to be and where they are going to be. To be a good LW, you need to know every single character in the game, their cooldowns, and their ideal locations now, and the next 10 seconds. The worst part of him is the terrible and unintended jank that comes from how his petal interacts with collision and how his ult refuses to come out in some situations.
Venture actively discourages synergies with her dig. She gets babied too hard by the amount of shields and invincibility she gets. It encourages a terrible play style.
Venture is fun to play tho, freya is far worse bland design and gameplay+ annoying to face just a disaster, waste of DPS slot we won’t get another cool dps for 1 year
omg I thought this was just me. Putting it on cast on release helped, but it still doesn’t always like it and i just keep staring at the floor LOL
