It depends. She gets tanked against Goats, but on ladder, in most comps she is exceptionally good. I think she is solidly balanced.

Tier 1 seems mostly reasonable
Tracer is overpowered af.
definitely, although i have a suspicion that if they made it easier to land it would have the hanzo effect. it might feel a bit too easy to get guaranteed kills and then it would just be all around garbage for everyone 
Hanzo has weird things rn where his hits actually curve hilarious enough, so fixing that should make it fine.
Also the game being more consistent just feels better, and then we can rebalance
Your opinion, I find no issues with even masters/diamond tracers, which I rarely even see now

i mean that’s true but it’s also an indication on which heroes are viable.
on the pro league the meta exists cause theyre the most viable and due to coordination.
on the latter just remove the coordinating factor and the ladder meta just follows whose individual kits are most viable after those in the pro meta
Same personally but I can’t say that about the general playerbase. Also it’s harder to hit her than for her to hit you regardless.
For the general playerbase, the tracers suck themselves and can’t kill you in one clip, otherwise they’d be diamond

Yeah, that’s a fair point and I totally believe it myself. In the case of Tracer specifically though, she hit an all-time low statistically when Brig came out and she’s been stuck there since.
She’s been trash throughout several ladder metas at this point.
Nope… she’s not useless.
I really, really like the idea of reload time reduction. It might work

She was good in exactly 1 meta, and only in the top ranks. Dive. Outside of that she has always been mediocre to bad. Was solid in seasons 1-2, but then again pretty much everything was as ppl were figuring the game out, wasnt much of a meta other than play ana and reaper in part of season 2. 3-4 was mainly triple tank, wasnt played in that. 5-9 was dive, she was amazing there at the top, not great at most ranks. Since then has been pretty damn bad. Wasnt good in double sniper, hasnt been good ever since brig was added, armor, burst heal, denying space etc hurts her tons. Wasnt good in goats, isnt good in the orisa ladder we are getting now.
So yea, it isnt that she is bad in this meta, and good in any other one, its that she was good in only 1 meta, with the caveat of being in high ranks.

Thing is, landing it is hardly a guaranteed kill. There are so many heroes who have an ability that will save them from a bomb that is already stuck on them.
yeah but brig hardly counters her anymore. it feels like while brig was strong, other characters except tracer got changed around and when she finally went down tracer just wasn’t “on-par” with the other heroes. that being said, i’m kinda against buffing tracer rn. she’s ladder viable, imo, just not ladder meta. buffing her rn would just cause another power creep

I never stopped playing tracer.
She’s still good at least in plat with some dedication to the hero.
Just the Feeling, to know, you can always further improve is enough of a reason for me to keep going further and further. 
Tracer is pretty hard to be effective, which is also a reason why I still like her. You can’t just pick her and do your job decent for lower ranks. You need to know what your Job is and how to execute it effective. (Yeah works for every hero, but imho if you haven’t learned the hero good enough, you will die pretty often or have literally 0 impact.
Beeing in the middle of the fight, avoiding all dmg just to get the final blow on the main support, to retreat and identify the second flank…

She’s not unplayable, and effective.
But not Meta as the meta has shifted away from her favor. Which is okay imho.
Every hero is viable. Tracer just happens to always be at the bottom in each rank. Also brig is still terrible for tracer to play into. Sure she doesnt 1 shot combo if tracer is at full health, and a teammates isnt around. But she still denies space, still has the best burst heal in the game, and armor is still terrible for tracer. That hasnt changed.

im not denying that tracer is in a bad state. im just saying that her state isn’t just because her kit is bad. asking to buff her feels like asking for a power creep is all
about brig that’s true but there are plenty of ways to counterplay brig as tracer much more than before. top tracers could easily counterplay brig with mobility even before brig’s series of nerfs.
like i said, it’s hardly to fault of just one hero.
