Is it reportable if healer in your team refuses to heal you?

I just played competive on tank role after not playing that role for long time on comp and some healers won’t heal me just because I don’t play their desired hero. My question is, is it reportable since they are refusing to heal you? They even say it in chat that they won’t heal me because I don’t play hero they like?

I’d personally consider that game sabotage, so probably yes. Most definitely, yes.

Ofc it is, but excuse me what? Do people actually do that?

Yes it is, report it for gameplay sabotage.

Yes, that’s gameplay sabotage.

Yes. Characters full sentence.

You’d be surprised what people do in this game to be petty.

Yeah, if you know they’re doing it on purpose.

Yes, in this case I would consider it gameplay sabotage.

But I also had games in which someone bullied a support over VC and yelled at him for everything. I wouldn’t mind if the support did not heal this person because it would be the offender’s fault to destroy the team’s moral for no good reason…

If you know for sure that they are intentionally not healing you solely to punish you for your hero choice (i.e., they use their words to say as much).

This is different than, say, an Ana who can’t keep up with or see or hit your small, fast character in the enemy backline, or a Mercy who can’t safely follow you as you dive into the enemy team or go on elaborate flanks, or just doesn’t want to hard pocket you, etc.

If the healer says, “Go [hero] or I won’t heal you”, then yes, that’s gameplay sabotage and I would report it as such.

Just curious, what hero were you playing? Like if youre on Ball and constantly in the enemy backline (aka out of range and LoS of your supports), then I wouldn’t fault the supports for saying they won’t/can’t heal you. Ive had Ball players get really salty before for not getting heals, but realistically most Ball players (at my rank) don’t make it possible for Supports to heal them anyway.

Other than something like that, then it should be reportable IF they specifically said that they won’t heal a specific person because of their hero choice.

Absolutely. If they say they aren’t going to heal you and they don’t, they’re sabotaging the match.

I was playing barrier tank that he didn’t want me to play

If they say it like that then yes, it’s gameplay sabotage. Heal priority is a thing, so sometimes supports basically get to choose which of their team members dies first. However, not healing someone all the time is trolling. There’s a difference between “That McCree is way out of position, likely to die no matter what I do, and I have a Rein over here who might live if I heal him instead.” and "I’m not healing you at all, ever, because I don’t like who you play.

“Or how you play” for that matter. Had a Mercy throw my game because I wasn’t playing up to their standards

If they are deliberately avoiding you at all costs and you are not doing anything that wouldn’t be considered feeding into the enemy. Yes, I would rule that as gameplay sabotage.

Now if you are diving in on your own and putting yourself in harm’s way. Healers may often be unable to reach you safely, and will not risk themselves getting eliminated if you are playing too dangerously.

I would say it is even more than reportable, but that would be a hard ToS.

If they outright admit they aren’t healing you because of some petty garbage like that, then yes, report the hell out of them.

From what i just from your OP, he intentionally didnt heal you, not just being bad or smth like that. So yes, report.

Sometimes Lucio or Mercy can get away with not healing tanks a whole lot, but if it’s like an Ana, Bap, or Moira and they rarely/never heal you then they’re just throwing.
