True, but sleep wont keep him down for full duration either. Also BOB will wake up, if someone happens to shoot at him. With Hack, you can basically focus him down, while he is hanging there, wondering the mysteries of life.

I’ve had Ashes send BOB at us right when I dropped Supercharger. Poor guy doesn’t even make it to the end of his charge.

If you can get close to him then yes ,it is your job to kill him ,it’s probably your best use tbh
Well it depends, it is something you can do, but you ay very well judge that it’s not the best choice such as:
- you’re too far away to get there in time
- another hero is putting sufficient damage into the BoB
- Ana is remotely nearby and would sleep him
- there are too many enemies supporting the BoB
- Bob is in a useless position so leave him where he is.
If you were to get close (with Wraith) you just need to get 10% of your pellets as headshots and you will be mostly health stable and scrap bob within 4 seconds.
This isn’t amazing. Orisa can easily score 100% headshots on Bob from very long ranges, means she can destroy BoB in 4.5 seconds. So if Reaper spends just 0.5 sec in wraith form to close into range then Orisa is a better Bob counter, other superior bob-counters.
Killing him as quick or quicker:
- Hanzo: 1 headshot -> storm-arrows -> 1 headshot = dead in 3 sec
- torb with headshots kills Bob in 4 seconds thanks to overload
- Widowmaker: 4 headshots kill, gap between 1st to 4th headshot is 3.75sec
- Zen: 1200 damage in 4 seconds with 10 discorded headshots.
Distract:
- Sombra can hack if anyone else gets close and distracts
- Ana: sleep dart, obviously
- Mei: Wall him off then freeze him,
Displace:
- Reinhart charge to move Bob into a position where he’s useless
- Roadhog hook into a useless position
So Reaper isn’t all that good unless he can get a way higher proportion of headshots which may not be all that easy. Projectile heroes have a comparatively easy time on Bob as his head hitbox is stationary (unless he’s turning around a lot), they can kill him quickly from long range.
Really it’s everyone’s responsibility to kill bob. Even Mercy can mag dump her blaster into BoB and deal 800 damage which is likely more damage than would be added by damage boosting.

If for some reason you’re running Reaper, then killing BOB would be pretty helpful thing to do. Reaper is one of the only heroes who can consistently take on BOB by himself. But ideally, at least two or three people on your team should work together to delete him as quickly as possible.

Wouldnt say its anyones job really. You either hide or get a shield or everyone bursts him down with discord orb.
It’s Mercy’s job to fight Bob, her blue beam kills him in 10 seconds flat.
