Is it possible to average 32% to 37% scoped critical with widow?

Probably a cheater just report them to be safe

If he had more than 5 hours on Widow in a season, with a 38% critical accuracy, it would make me suspicious. It’s pretty high to say the least. But I still can’t decisively say anything until I see a VOD.

That’s average across multiple games, but I played him, and he was at least Masters aim. I’m not sure though, that’s why it’s fishy. He destroyed me in a 1 v 1 (also cause I’m worse than I was a year ago)

The highest I ever averaged across comp was around 24% scoped critical (in gold/ plat) across multiple games, now I’m just trash cause I play less. To be honest that’s not bad for me, considering I’m not a teenager. (reflexes and apm)

In meta hog it was possible to hit more than 50%?
If you focus only on him of course, but it’s counter productive he would never die to solo widow.

Any tips to get higher % scoped crit and improve game sense with widow to win those games and climb?

I’m not the guy you were replying to but this tip helped me quite a bit.

Iv’e seen that, anything you can add ?

Keep your crosshair at head level and don’t let it float around much. Also, watch top500 widows and learn where they are aiming.

It’s not suspicious at all, if you’re hitting 50% of your shots that should be the range or more.

I dont really recall many Widow players with 37% headshot accuracy.
Average GM widow is about 25%

It’s high but not suspicious
Mine is 12%, yes laugh at me

It is if you deliberately play for stats. Usually players’ statistics are a bit lower than where they should be because we shoot at stuff like boxes and walls or try to prefire Sombra out of stealth or whatever

Apart from work on aim a lot, make sure that you aren’t settling for body shots when in game. A lot of Widow players worry about overall accuracy, but the thing is if you aim for the head only, you are more likely have your overall accuracy go down vs if you aim for just anywhere on the body. The two stats to look for are scoped critical hit accuracy(this tells whether a large portion of your shots are actually well aimed), and scoped critical hits per 10 minutes(this one shows that you aren’t just sitting around taking only the easy shots and that you’re playing proactively). If you have between 24-30% scoped crit and above 13 per 10 minutes I wouldnt worry about the stats too much, and instead focus on positioning.

I’ve seen it where the whole team loses and the one person left who didn’t leave switches to widow and asks the other team to stand still so they can just tap them all in the head barely and get like 150 headshots with 100 percent accuracy, things like that scew numbers sometimes

Saya and Striker at peak were like 30-35%. Unless they are accu min-maxing it’s pretty unlikely they were legit hitting those numbers on a season average. Unless it was in QP or gold or something.

Tank head farmers will have that, as well as outstanding ones, then the cheating ones. Not definitive at all on its own.

The highest I’ve ever seen a legitimate Widow get was Sayaplayer, and he got up to 33% crit accuracy on average. Add in some deviation and it’s possible for a Widow to have a really good game with 32% - 37%.

There are also some outside factors that can influence these numbers like were they a smurf? Were the people they were shooting at standing still? Were they taking easy shots at tanks?

All in all the best way to tell if someone is cheating is to watch the replay at .25 speed and see if they make suspicious looking flicks (generally sketchy flicks will be so fast that even at .25 speed they seem to happen between frames).
