Is Hanamura located in Kyoto?

I don’t know if it’s the right section, however…

I am delving into Japanese culture a little bit, and I notice that a lot of the details of Hanamura and Kanezaka are part of the characteristics of Kyoto rather than Tokyo. So is it conceivable that the map is in Kyoto?

Some time ago Michael Chu said Hanamura is set in Tokyo, but could it be that much of the influence of the original concepts (when the map is supposed to be called Kyoto Temple) ultimately influenced the art department about the characteristics of Kyoto?

If i remember correctly the map concepts had a “Kyoto temple” named map which looked the same as Hanamura

Both Hanamure and Kanezaka are located in Tokyo.

The Kyoto Temple was an old map concept that turned into Hanamura. They don’t always use reference from accurate locations for their maps. Most infamously, Dorado is based on a city in Italy.
