Doomfist seems OP if your awareness for your surroundings is equally to zero.

Itâs also that he has been receiving constant buffs since his initial nerfs on release.
Iâd wager people only recently picking him up to any significant degree, no direct transition from other heroes and former reputation of being bad are why these threads are not even more prevalent than they now are.

But since you already made a point, Iâd say that there is no general rule to lower cooldowns being easier or harder. It both has benefits and in regard to doomfist itâs even harder to say, since his abilities are movement+offensive (risky) at the same time.
A longer cooldown (if itâs balanced) normally has more impact, so you gotta be consistent and you have to be more cautios on when to use it.
Short cooldowns instead (especially once with charges) force you to make decisions far more often, since you have to equal out between not wasting the ability and not underusing the ability. However, the short-cd makes it more forgiving to make the âwrongâ choice.
I donât think Doomfist is inherently OP, but it is easy for him to be oppressive. A good DF requires people to play around him and take him down is all since he is quite mobile.
With his main counter out of commission (sombra) he has 1 less counter and can run wild
Oh yeh jump in with 400hp shield one shot support and get out with ult, so much risk, literally the only hero that f***s me over as mccree, âbut wah mccree you have flashbangâ oh yeh thats really a sure way to kill doomfist when A)he kills you before you can even react B) hes stunned as hes falling down from uppercut or whatever other movement hes stuck on, yeh good luck killing him when even 2 headshots doesnt kill him when he has shield C) your team uses all cooldowns to kill him along with DFâs distraction prompting the rest of his team to wipe you. brigette may be annoying because of how braindead she is to play and the impact she has, well we have doomfist here who can kill half a team within 2 seconds with barely any skill, sure in Masters and above people with god aim can do somewhat good against him but i still see him destroy everyone even in GM to top 500 matches with those high rank players including pros who quite clearly dont enjoy playing against him along with brigette who lets 0 skill trash bags get a decent rank in this game.

Yeh as if any nerf will change how broken his kit is and how unfun doomfist is to play against.
Heâs literally getting 4 nerfs next update that will probably bring him back down to f-tier and make him much less frustrating to play against, what are you on about?
Rising Uppercut
- Loss of air control duration decreased to 0.6s (from 3s)
Seismic Slam
- Maximum range drecreased to 15m (from 20m)
- Victims no longer lose air control while being pulled in
Meteor Strike
- Inner ring damage radius increased to 2.0m (from 1.5m â this is the ring where Meteor Strike deals its full 300 damage)
- Max damage outside of inner ring decreased to 200 (from 300 â this is the ring where damage falloff happens, which still reduces the damage down to 15 at max range)
Again just swapping numbers around instead of actually making a fun character to play, all they can do is either make him op as f*** or trash tier, although i will be happy seeing less doomfist but if this is how they go about designing heroes then i have no words.
