Main issue with brig is people cant see her value. You can see Lucio’s heal ring and know where he’s healing (especially since they have shrunk it multiple times over the years). But Brig’s AoE is to big to show, they need to add a thing like Mercy letting you know when your getting healed by your Brig on your portrait, just not as big I would think.

I have like 600 hours on Brig so I might not be the best source lol but I think she’s fine. Definitely not S tier but solid. Depends on map, team comp, and the enemy tank.
Yeah sometimes her pressure even by presence alone is her bread and butter in this OW climate. Especially if you’re a brute forcer naturally.

Exactly she is great for brawl comps best the only time she is weak is when your positioning is poor and you get focused shes not a one brig fits all.

Yeah she’s bad. The tank buffs killed her
She’s good against flankers and direct damage heroes like Widow and Hanzo. Not bad, just need to know how to position her and keep her inspire up with shift all game.
A lot of people here saying “if you think she’s bad you’re playing her wrong”, but nobody is saying how to play her right.
Kind of like a cat, basically. You hang around the middle of your team, use bash mostly for repositioning OUT of danger. Try to avoid having your shield break at all costs, because your mobility depends on it. Land as many whipshots as you can from a distance. In some situations, you can also briefly walk to the front and proc inspire with primary (tip: it goes through shields), but be sure to bash out again immediately once you’ve procced it. But if you see an isolated squishy during a fight, or a flanker, you POUNCE on them
Its hilarious how that’s about all you really need to do. At the same time, if the enemy team is running spam tanks and dps like zen, bap, mauga, sojorun, s76, etc.
Brigitte is a throw pick. This alone will keep her regulated from being a use in every scenario kind of pick. At the same time, if she can get even jut one enemy that wants to press W into your team, you get value because your goal is to deny that one person space and killing power.
My biggest frustration is that Brigitte is pretty much an easy kill against Winston now and they keep buffing the ever living crap out of him against her.f
More frequent shields and leaps.
Secondary to poke her outside of leap range.
Does 25% more damage.
Ignores armor.
Knockback resistance.
Like others have mentioned you usually play her with either Bap or Ana and act as a bodyguard. You play safe, avoid poke, save packs for your 2nd support and try proc inspire whenever possible.
I suggest checking out Mace on twitch, he’s a brig main who is good at explaining optimal playstyles for brig depending on the comp you have.
Brig is actually a very passive most of the time. You got these raid boss Tanks so just stay in the back and peel for your supports/dps
Her self heal is quite the issue rn. It didn’t scale with the hp increase and tank dmg increase so now tanks she’s supposed to deter have a much easier time cooking her alive.
Unlike lucio who have options, she needs a high self heal so she doesn’t need the other support to peel for her back constantly against dive thanks to her lack of mobility, or it would be effectively neutering her purpose.
I’ve changed whipshot to be scroll wheel click. I can’t imagine hitting shift fast enough. My pinky aches just thinking about it. (Scroll up can suffice too)
I am SO glad someone else sees how much of a cat Brig is. Territorial and when two brigs fight, it is EXACTLY like two cats fighting.
