… That’s what you spent so much time cooking?..
lol i know, saw him start typing and stop typing so many times and thats what he comes up with, more offensive insults because they cannot make a valid argument. i have like 19
posts, does that mean he spends to much time here compared to me?
It’s just… that was so juvenile… amateur even… I feel more offended that he wouldn’t put effort into flaming me than the actual flaming he tried to do.
This here first, adult thought the rules in a 13+ game were the same as a 17+ game. Of course when playing a children’s game that actively invites children to play (that is the point of the new hero mastery mode, to ease them in) they don’t like people inviting others to perform sexual acts in chat.
Yes it is but either after multiple suspensions or under extreme cases it can be first time.
The tolerance for toxicity that isn’t a personal attack, harrasment or discrimination is massive as long as your not trying to annoy people every game you’ll be safe.
I have not received any message for months that my reports have banned someone, I’m seeing a lot of xenophobia and homophobia and other things in the chat, A couple of days ago someone told me “I hope you die of AIDS” and I assumed it was still insta ban but that player is still online, still in the game.
So for me the reports for now seem for decoration, it is supposed to be used to ban but…
pretty sure no human reviews these reports unless you appeal, its based on number of reports received in a given time frame. whether or not the report says nothing, or the report says you said this ect ect ect, they would have to actually check the logs to see if that is true. quantity of reports over “quality” if you will.
fair enough, but how about permanent silence instead, they already encourage people to just turn off chat… just turn it off for them.
A F2P game is pro toxicity by definition. They knew the kind of players they were going to get while going F2P and if they start a ban war against them… well, it would never end as they can just create new accounts endlessly.
A F2P team based competitive PVP game with cartoonish graphic… well, it’s like saying to all of the kids of the entire planet “come here and ruin it” on purpose.
I feel it wouldn’t be so bad with more human oversight, or to permanently silence someone but just banning people… and for some it wasn’t F2P we bought the game we had to buy it, and then spent money on boxes/skins that aren’t even available anymore(like pink mercy skin)
How hard is it to just not be a child online.
Literally just dont act like a raging child and you will be fine
Teenagers in discords that only perpetuate it as normal
Adults working full time and then coming home to be “unhinged” without thinking
Actual terrible people
It’s unfortunate but also interestingly shows where the average person is at IRL.
Yes, it’s permanently bannable. However, I think this is a really stupid punishment. Just chat silence their OW account forever. Problem solved regarding that. if they then do gameplay sabotage… well that’s different.
they will be fine, but it won’t stop others from being toxic, ideally everyone could do that, but you know it won’t happen. It hards to stop people from acting like a child online… when many of them are children… and its now a F2P game so the children come in hordes
Using slurs like “Ball” are bannable, use the appropriate naming convention WB, Hammond or Wrecking ball.
are you for real? any proof of this lol cause it sounds laughable. what about continue to call the one character Mcree? i still call him Mcree is that bannable?
This made me think of something honestly. The the sort of lack of control and lashing out over trivial things isn’t going to be exclusive to gaming, the people in their private life are also probably going to feel it as well…
A lot of people just haven’t managed to really reflect or control their emotions or seek out resolution to the things that get them on edge, or that they keep inside all day long… it doesn’t even cross a lot of their minds that they have these problems and that there’s healthier ways to resolve them… they just think it’s normal.
very likely, however the people in there own lives don’t usually disrespect my time. I sometimes get mad and say things i shouldn’t ect, i am pretty sure we have all done it at one point or another, we learn and grow and get better hopefully. I cannot think of a time i have done that to anyone i live with tho. When i log into a TEAM game and play COMPETITIVE mode, you not trying, going in alone ect ect and making it harder for my team to win, is disrespectful to me and my time and sometimes that pushes me over the edge and i say things i later regret. Not using this as an excuse to justify it, cause its not justified when i do it, but to make my point that not everyone who does it in a game does it in real life to loved ones.
he’s just kidding, but it wouldnt surprise me if it was true.
