There’s way more boosted Hog players than boosted Rein or Winston players. Hog is a literal training wheels hero.

Ok so hog rework next.

Take a breather has damage resistance reduced from 50% to 25%. When using breather, you are given the option to confirm or cancel the ability. You can press E again to have the can face outwards, confirming will allow you to heal nearby teammates with the mist. Speed decreased, but he can still move. Maybe 40% of max speed while self healing, 80% when team healing.

Hook range decreased, but damage increase, plus maybe a shorter cool-down to compensate. It no longer stuns, it just pull the enemy player towards him, allowing for counter play, so it doesn’t feel like complete BS, but still being punishing enough for players who aren’t paying attention.

Passive is increased from whatever it is now to maybe 60%.

This is literally only ability hog has to directly protect teammates and u wanna nerf it.

I don’t think the damage resistance needs to be reduced, he just needs to have the ability to move disabled while he uses it. He can get away with too much rn because he can walk away and heal at the same time. Removing his ability to move while healing would make it so he actually has to think about when it’s safe to use it.

Boosted by the hero they play.

Guys stop arguing, let’s come up with some reworks.

Plus a good example of boosted by a hero is an imfamous story of a gold player who got to GM by playing release Brig, because she was such a skillless hero. After her reworks, they tried to play as other Supports, but simply couldn’t compete.

I just wonder why you want to make hog less fun to play, instead of making other tanks more fun to play.

Because Hog is unfun for everyone to begin with.

Except for the ones playing hog.

Ok Zarya, let her rocket jump around, like from the experimental.

Her charge now drains slowly at first, but then goes back to normal a few seconds later.

Zarya has a shared cool-down on her bubbles, like from the gameplay showcases. She can now store up to 3 charges however.

Also Roadhog can always receive damage buffs to his primary or secondary fire, since my rework would include a much more forgiving hook.

I love being a tank but im just tired…

Because Hog makes other tanks not fun to play. Making Hog less powerful would directly make other tanks more fun to play.

Hog is hardly a tank anyways. he’s just a big DPS that could easily be evicted from
the tank role without major repercussions.

It doesn’t really matter, hog players leave and you will enjoy even longer dps queues.

Don’t worry, some suckers would take their place. It surely would be absolutely awful gameplay experience…but hey, you still got tank players, so everything is fine, right?

It already is war, and it’s been going for years at this point.

I’ve never been Top500, but GM Tanks at the very least - do not always get this privilege.
You’d be surprised how often I got Diamonds (and sometimes a singular Plat) on my team against Masters on the same slot for the enemy team. Or worse, Top40 against a Masters.

It’s why I stopped playing Competitive. Well… that, and Double Shield for eternity.

im not really a dps player. and the queue times are already extremely high so why not make the 1 game that dps players can play every 30 minutes ACTUALLY fun.
