Most stun attacks in this game are not melee attacks. Doomfist and Brigitte are exceptions. Iām ok with Doomfist, but I do think with Brigitte that the shields should collide.
collide with what exactly? the shields are not a physical substanceā¦ youād have better luck colliding with a rainbow than you would a shield made out of light.
Tank play now is hard the 3 main tanks get wrecked ignore the toxic dps players up there glad you see why rein mains are quitting comp and some ow all together
thatās why Rein basically requires a Zarya to baby sit him with bubbles now.
Bullets collide with them. Clearly thereās something that can stop objects from passing through.

They are using the same philosophy as Star Wars where Shields of light are only capable of blocking projectiles but not people walking through them.
That and if Shields of light blocked movement youād be making a new topic complaining about that instead because that would make tanks the most powerful heroes in the entire game.
I still play Reinheart (and other tanks) but approach the strategy differently. You have a better chance grouping up as Doomfist and Brigitte attacking will get picked off easier. The only problem however is once the group up scatters, tanks will get targeted.
That will always happen in QP. Less so in competitive. Either way, have to be aware of who on your team is behind you and has your back.

Itās a video game. It doesnāt have to make sense. It does need counterplay. Counterplay for Doomfist can be Orisa. Brigitte needs to synergize with her. He needs more counterplay.
It has counter play and Iām sorry if youāre having difficulty finding it. But asking for things that would make shields overpowered is irresponsible and selfish.
Donāt forget symmetraās coming out soon and will have a massive shield that you would not be able to walk through if they did the changes you wanted.
Iām not asking for something to make shields overpowered. Iām a D.Va main. I have no shield. And I really like playing Brigitte. Sheās my favorite support. Iām just being objective.

And I completely disagree with you being objective. Or you would consider the fact of how overpowered it would be.
Imagine thereās a Reinhart that has only 50 HP but heās in a corner with his shield up that has 2000 HPā¦ you are the only one left on your team to take that point but you canāt kill him fast enough because you canāt move through his shield or melee attack him.
OP did say in the OP that they were a support main. I donāt find it unreasonable to not know how x-hero works if you donāt often play them.

As a D.Va Main I honestly donāt even feel that affected - I play Winston, and Iāve played Rein this season more than ever, idek man, but my luck is great, minus the ping spikes xd
