Uhh, You’re partially right. But, there are people who react like Ashe or Cassidy in these situations. In a lot of shows, films, etc. People react differently to things, and having the same tone/reaction would make things dull.
I think this is one of those situations where you cannot take the tone personally, anyone that does should probably take a mental break.
ngl im sure there would be people who would be annoyed even with how you said they would react if near death.
well as i said in the beginning, its not so much about actually taking it personally. i just things it speaks volumes about how not even the devs respect the job of the supports and would rather lean into the toxic attitude rather than actively trying to soften or de-escalate the issue of most ppl just expecting heals or rezzes because its much easier to cry for heals than to avoid damage wherever possible.

I’ve never thought about this, but now I realize how hostile in general is OW2 towards support heroes.

Back in the days when you probably havent born yet, there was a game, called Unreal Tournament, where characters literally slur to each other and it was fun, and there were no such a word as “toxic” Games are games, your perception is the issue.
OW game probably needs 18+ mark to arive in.
I mean they ask fit’s their character so I don’t see an issue with it. I always say thanks afterward , I don’t think it is an issue

Wounded person feels pain, which supposed to be reflected in their calls.
So I am not going to believe, that someone being on death’s door in terms of health, would be cocky or arrogant. They can be that way otherwise, but not at such moments.

Purely perspective. I don’t see any of them being cocky when they need heals.
My biggest complaint with this is kiriko while im playing her. Im full health and she has some weird voiceline about needing healing that auto plays and everytime i look before i realize it was me. Im trying to remember but i play her so rarely its going to get me or a teammate killed 100 percent sooner or later.
Who the hell cares? Every hero is a different character with different personality. And none of them are in kindergarten. In real batttles people don’t call for medic “nicely” if it’s urgent.

“Medic” is yelled by the person next to the wounded guy. The wounded guy is gonna be spitting profanity to lessen the pain, if he’s able.

It is a video game. That’s why the characters are actually nice compared to people in real world.
Besides, as I said, different heroes have different personalities. It adds flavor to the game. Seriously, this is such a ridiculous thing to complain about.
