If so it should be nicer to have lucios around if doing normal 2-2-2, 1-3-2 and so on type of ladder comps since so many times I see selfish lucios speedboosting instead of healing in order to increase the odds of getting a boop of.

Not to start a dump on Lucio thread, but I have been doing a lot more Zarya lately and am astounded at least in QP how healers can’t/won’t/don’t prioritize healing the tank pushing payload or holding the point… I mean literally, I have had healers next to me or in front of me at times… I kid you not. What the heck is up with that? Lucio has been one of the main offenders too…

Sometimes a Lucio just wants to get that instakill and it affects the enemy team’s behavior in making them paranoid

Gotta be honest, I like the greenish playstyle and with recent wallride buffs my primary job just shifted to environmental kill specialist.

Right, so it buffed his speed in both heal and speed songs. Not just heal song.

No it keeps his wallride speed in speed song the same as it was before the speed aura nerf (compensates).
His heal aura gets a buff when wallriding (nothing to compensate here to it’s a straight buff)

No dude. He says it affects you while in heal song as well. It wouldn’t be worded that way if it was only in heal song.

Yes it’s a universal change for both.
However if you’re in speed song in PTR you are not faster than if you’re in speed song in live because the aura is nerfed from 30%->20%.
The dev literally says

Which is funny since Ashe, along with Widow, is one of the easier kills for me as Lucio.

It’s all about closing the distance while being hard to hit. Some Ashe players have that crazy good flick/tracking.

Essentially his wall ride is the same as it’s been. The buff to the speed was just to make up for the speed boost nerf.

Two steps back, two and a half steps forward isn’t going to take you far.
