I can confirm that 10k posts read is not enough to get level 3, but 20k posts read is. To up my read count, I went to [Feedback Thread Continued] Mercy Updates - Jan 30, 2018 - #7802 by Misericordia-21321 and taped down the down arrow key, restarting it when the page crashed.

I’ve seen level 3 posters with fewer than 20k posts, so I don’t think it’s as simple as that.

I don’t know - but I’ve read more than 20k now and am still only level 2. So I still think it’s not clear whether 20k posts read is one of the criteria.

When did you go past the 20k mark? I think it has a delay to grant you level 3, so you could need to wait 24 hours.
Plus, 20k posts read is just 1 of the requirements.

I believe the exact time the permission is granted is 5 am UTC. At least it’s what I read another user saying and it was also when it was granted for me. If that’s right, 13 more hours to wait
