Thanks Zhyxen for linking me through to this. Good to know it’s not just isolated to me but still frustrating nevertheless. I’m going to look at a VPN work-around for the time being. Is there any information that I can supply to help with this? traceroute etc? I’m also getting packet loss in game which is making me slightly rubberband only small amounts at around 1-2% a time. Obviously I too am with iiNet

I have been dealing with the ping issue since saturday and am hoping this problem gets solved.
I have the same issue from Geelong with iinet.
Can confirm I am north of Cairns with Internode. Have usually 90ms ping but now 250ms. trace route shows some amazon server in america getting used. Will try the VPN and see if it works.
Hola VPN works fine. Just turned it on and set it to aus and I have back to 40ms ping

We should be good on connection tests for the time being. It does look like this is something that iiNet is looking into as well as they have an event logged here. May want to keep any eye on that as well for updates.

Tried relogging? Internode reps over on whirlpool only just recently in the last hour put up a post that they have updated one of their peering links… Seems to be fixed for everyone who has posted so far.
