The game mode is trash, not a friendly game mode for pugs. Funny to me every time 2 CP shows up, I kid you not more than 50% of the lobby quits. yet the devs have to nerve to keep Paris in the game. makes no sense. Would love them to publish the quitting rate just for Paris alone. Would speak volumes of the player’s base sentiment toward the map design/ game mode.
“It’s just QP. Chill, dude”. Like I said, when I ask someone to switch because they’re getting countered I’m tryharding, but when forums say “remove Paris and Horizon form QP” that’s fine…
It’s been two years since the game’s gotten a new map, the last thing it needs is losing maps that actually are playable.
You’re getting your wish with “OW2”. All the mean 2CP maps are either gonna be gone or somehow reworked.
The gamemode is so widely despised, why not just remove it now if you’re gonna remove it anyway in the future?
I like it fine. Unless it’s Hanamura, that map sucks and should go away permanently.
The only really bad ones are the ones they left in QP rotation. The rest are not my favorites, but they can lead to some exciting point B’s. They mainly suffer from the snowball, but the recent fix to that seems to have eliminated most snowballs (unless it’s do to poor ULT economy by the defenders).
