I’d give the replay system more fluid and extensive controls, an export/import feature, the ability to save clips to video and the ability to watch replays with others.

Well, fun experiment time then.

Hanzo: just remove him. Way too much spam.

Junk: increase projectile size to .25 while making explosion area bit bigger (10%). Plus the arc of his projectile. Right now he can’t secure kills.

Doom: one of the two ways,
Reduce shield gain from 35 to 30 per enemy or make the shields go away faster.

To compensate this, reduce rocket punch charge up time by a small margin.

Mei: Stop with the ability to freeze 20 people at once. Rather increase her projectile speed a bit as well as damage. Higher skilled players will benefit from it.

Reaper: reduce this moron’s lifesteal to 25-30% max.

Tracer: no clue. She’s just useless.

Sombra: reduce the animation time for EMP. You can’t even ult now. Either improve her damage by 5-10% or let her charge up emp using health pack like before. EMP takes 2 minutes to charge now. And Moira and Bap heals too much to have any impact with it anyways.
And give 25s invisibility instead of infinite duration. Will not maker her broken.

Soldier:
Let him reload while sprinting.
Let him do 240 damage on helix only if the max shield of a character is over 600.
Improve his fire rate to 10 bullets/s while reducing the recoil a bit. No reason to have that much when he’ll be shooting at shields anyways.

As for tanks:
Dva:
Increase the matrix range to 12.5m.
Reduce missile cooldown by 2s if it doesn’t break her.
Reduce that joke of a critbox of her mech.
Hog: maybe give him a team oriented ability? Like when he takes breather, it reduces the stun duration in a small area surrounding him. Would make him little bit of a better tank to play.
Rein: he’s screwed anyways.
Orisa: don’t know what you can do except increasing halt cooldown by 1s, let her gun have damage falloff. Would bring back Rein instantly with Lucio change.
Sigma. Don’t play that much to know a lot.

Sleepy. So no clue how braindead these changed might be.

Probably be really unpopular and push for the removal of competitive, then focus on making the game all about the workshop. Turn it into a sort of sandbox hero shooter. Throw balance out the window and do crazy stuff with the game.

Replace all of Roadhog’s dialogue with this:

This!! This needs to be done asap.

  • Improve interpolation and tick rate for comp. environment.
  • Remove compensation techniques for latency differences between players greater than 60ms.
  • Make Matchmaking more transparent, (there are 100 things i want to know about this matchmaking)
  • Do not allow players to choose the role they want to play in comp mode. It should be completely random, (no secret Blizzard “randomness”)
    That would fix the waiting times and take the gameplay to a new level.

With phenomenal cosmic dev powers I’d make the following changes/tweaks:

  • Snappier and less buggy console menus
  • Let controller users adjust dead zones, stick drift is a thing
  • Controls menu defaults to current selected hero
  • Add an option to mute all but critical gameplay voice lines from a specific player/players
  • Better replay UI for console
  • Genji dash 14m --> 10m
  • 350 hp Brig shield, the current paper thin shield is pathetic
  • Give some of the old splash damage back to Pharah
  • Segmented barriers with separately balanced hp pools for Sigma and Orisa

Give people the option to play FFA skirmish or practise range whilst queuing for a game.

It wouldn’t solve the queue time issues some people are having, but it would at least make things a bit more bearable for them.

I’d get rid of 2 CP. For the following reasons:

  1. Too many of the maps have chokes that require good team coordination to break, coordination that is difficult to get in many ranks of the game (Anubis, Hanamura, and Paris being the most difficult 1st push maps).

  2. They end in draws far too often, 2CP and the first point on Hybrid maps have an issue where the bar doesn’t allow you to win by touching the point uncontested if the enemy team failed to do so during their last push. You have to get at least 1 tick before you can win. Meaning that if you mount a perfect defense preventing the enemy from even moving the bar but you manage to touch the point uncontested you don’t win even though you technically accomplished the objective better than the enemy.

  3. Its not fun to watch, 2cp are some of the fastest maps in OWL to the point that you are watching back and forth stomps until time runs out. It doesn’t feel satisfying to watch who can stomp the other team the fastest and every time it appears on OWL I loose interest.

Increase Brig’s shield health so it has more HP than the character using it
Add daily quests as well as more weekly ones
In-game animated short and comic viewer
Individual hero levels

Mercy Main here, I would adjust her HPS a little so she can heal tanks better and perhaps open up orders for the Pink and Atlantic skins on the SHop :joy:
