X spammers may die more often than non-X spammers when i’m playing support. cant say i know why 
supports can’t compensate for bad gameplay, and they’re more useful to the team when they can mix in plenty of damage or damage amping. DPS players will forget cover is the most OP thing to exist, ever, and then get angry when they’re two tapped by a hanzo before heals can reach them
but yeah no if you want to build cohesive teamwork and get people to play with you more, being kind is the way to go. that’s just human psychology at work
It’s like with lifeweaver like I’ve seen people try to purely heal bot with lifeweaver because “His heals aren’t worth it” and the heals are to slow but like if you NEVER shoot/don’t dps when you can as lifeweaver your just playing him wrong and trust me it won’t go well.

Wow, I thought Lifeweaver has strong heals! Long range. Don’t need to be very accurate. It’s not as delayed as Kiriko’s healing either.
I don’t know if I’m right but I think situational awareness and solid pathing is better than aim. But you’re right about dps not running for cover in certain situations.

Oh so you mean like the way I play Junkrat and just constantly launch grenades, most of them blindly, near enemy position.
sorry i’m not sure what point you’re trying to make. if it helps, there are times when healers aren’t pulling their weight – obviously – but even in those situations passive aggressiveness tends to turn moods sour and less is accomplished because of it
And after 2-3 deaths w\o proper healing I’ll throw game by picking Hog.

I have switched off Reinhardt for Roadhog many, many times because I wasn’t getting healed.
Reinhardt needs others to heal him for sure. He’s a big target.
I’ve tried to do the same thing many times if I’m Dmg but I haven’t found a good self-healing Damage hero yet - RIP Bastion.
I’m a support main with over 1,200 hrs of this role and am very good at doing this stuff.
However, when I play dps, I find myself in total agreement with dps complainers and myself sometimes am asking what are you even healing?! And it’s not because “supports are bad”. It’s because I estimate that 80% of players picking support heroes very clearly are not support mains and do not have the skillset to watch and predict what the other 9 players on the map are doing.
The biggest offenders are Moira, Brig or Kiriko as they are dpsing and just hugging the tank all day, and ground-Mercy who clearly doesn’t know how to superjump or even GA, and just right-clicks the same player the entire match.
When you get an REAL support main, the difference is night and day. Unfortunately between battle-pass for unranked and completionists wanting to get matching ranks in comp, there are just too many dps mains trying to play support and ruining it for everyone.

to answer your question. people were still pouring in talking about thing anything they possibly could. Doubly so those that doubled down that “we werent getting anything they showed” And would just change the topic to something else.
Then their was one guy who claimed the thread was his, and another that was going on conspiracy theories about the on fire system.
Like I hold my original stance. But like I’m also just tired of weirdo’s trying to win an argument that had nothing to do with the thread.

you can look at the logs and see it as not interacted with for over 20 days or so.

This is actually why I switched from being a phara/dps main to a support main lol. I learned a lot, but when I go back to DPS I am now even more infuriated.

If she focuses on only doing DPS, she can do decent damage, hers is actually lowest or was lowest DPS in game. A flat 50 dps, any support not named Lucio or Zen on the person she’s attacking is just fueling ult charge for both Moira and the other support.
