If you don't say "Sorry DPS" when a match gets cancelled, you are rude!

I just want to take this time to say sorry to people who play role queue. You have my sympathies.

Wasting time that you had ALREADY committed to wasting is not something to pity.

I typically am not fond of having friends who need constant maintenance performed on their ego. Especially if it takes a blow for something as benign as waiting to play a video game.

The reason there is such a long queue is because of all the players queueing for dps in the first place. If we’re gonna act like dps players are their own species then they created their own problem in the first place. Also, saying sorry dps can be interpreted as mockery and rude on its own, like rubbing salt in a wound.

The fact that you feel entitled to my apology when your DPS queue gets cancelled just goes to show that you yourself are a DPS player who feels as though DPS are more important than any other role. That in of itself is rude and kinda hypocritical of you. And unless you are apologizing to every other player when their queue gets cancelled dont come looking for me to apologize to your hypocritical idea of politeness

To be fair, I do not think this has anything to do with role. It just so happens to be the role with the long queue time.

I have a feeling there would be just as many entitled people in the other two roles if THEY had to wait.

it’s not an apology, it’s a sympathy ‘pat on the back’ for wasted time.

Which is fine.

But you’re not “rude aye eff” if you don’t apologize for it.

Huh? The punk who left is the one who owes me an apology. Not the people who are still in the game. Even then, they usually give us their condolences anyways.

How about this: I’ll check your profile and only apologize if you are NOT primarily a DPS player. I’m only sorry if you decided to take the wait because you don’t get to play DPS often, and now it’s doubled. If you actively chose to primarily play DPS (hence, YOU’RE THE ONE CAUSING THE LONG QUEUE TIMES), I’m not sorry at all. In fact, I hope the experience will make you either uninstall or check more boxes the next time you queue.

Honestly, my post topic was satire – I realize I’ve muddied this thread. My original point was to have some sympathy for DPS players when a match gets cancelled because they are likely waiting the length of two actual matches just to get to play one. Not that you have to verbally/textually apologize every time.
