If you could remove 10 characters from the game, which ones?

I’d only give Widowmaker the boot. I feel like any other character would be fine with changes that don’t really affect their identity too much, but not so with Widow. A one shot with extreme range that’s readily available warps the gameplay horribly in my experience.

S76/Sojourn: We could do with less of the CoD playstyle, especially in this current state.

Mercy: Not very engaging outside of pocket healing/damage boosting.

Tracer: I know she’s the poster child and all but aside from being infuriating to deal with, she became too easy to pick up after the recent health and bullet changes.

Widow: Literally makes maps with long sightlines less engaging.

Genji: He’s become too much of an ego booster.

Ana: Now she can finally retire.

Kiriko: Because without anti she’ll probably be used less, so let’s make it fair.

Orisa: While i like her character, she’s still one of the reasons double shield could exist. Even after her rework she’s just been this blackhole where fun goes to die.

Sym: Sorry Sym fans. I like her too, but if blizzard keeps doing kneejerk nerfs to her, she might as well be sent back to Vishkar.

It’s interesting that players would like to remove heroes that are easier to play. The result would be that a broad player base would be lost. Not all players want to play half the day. Casual players would be excluded if simple heroes were removed. Which ultimately leads to the servers being shut down when only a handful of hardcore gamers are still playing.

Reinhardt because I want to see if his removal would actually get me to quit this game or not. It is one thing to say it. It is another to experience it.
