How do you think the reception would be? Positive negative or indifferent? I think it could be cool to have characters from other franchises playable. I wonder if she would be kind of op though. She could be kind of tanky like sigma or bastion, but primarily a dps.
Ability 1 Morph Ball
Can’t attack, but can quickly move around fast with a smaller hitbox and weaker health. Maybe with the ability to drop morph ball bombs.
Ability 2. Missile launch.
Launches a heat seeking missile at a target that bounces them back when hit and pierces armor, but has lower base damage then helix rockets.
Main weapon:
Power beam obviously. Maybe the power beam can also be charged up kinda like zens beam launches.
Ultimate: Plasma Beam
Launches a large electric sort of blast at the target kind of like in super smash bros melee.

Just as long as she plays like her Smash version, I’d be excited.

Im willing to have zero suit samus in every god damn game

Bad from the Overwatch community, good from outside of it. If we can’t have Jetpack cat, I’d be upset they put Samus freaken Aran in the game.

would be nice if there was a pharah/samus crossover skin but it would probably be switch exclusive so as a pc player i would be sad. wont happen anyways since blizzard has NEVER collaborated with any other company cept crossovers with its own different ip’s

Crossover skins is one thing but crossover characters would severely damage my view of the game personally.
Also, there’s no way in hell Nintendo is touching Blizzard with a 10 foot pole any time soon.

I’m with DRUNKINJEDI here - a Samus-inspired Pharah skin would be really cool, even if I don’t think it will happen. I mean, I’m sure family-friendly LEGO and the women-centred Pink Ribbon Foundation are both regretting associating their names with Blizzard at the moment, haha…

I would one trick her in a heart beat.
Well they did the best they could without asking for permission they would never get with phara. It is obviously a nod towards Samus.
Some kind of Samus inspired skin could work. Sort of how Clown junkrat kind of is like a legal version of a joker skin.

Tanky? Nah, Samus would totally be a run-and-gun character like Soldier
What would the abilities be though? There are so many to choose from and so many different playstyles would arise

Pretty much perfect, though I think what would be cool for the ultimate is maybe activating both the wave and plasma beams for a time, like how Soldier’s ult works
Samus’s beam would deal more damage and penetrate both enemies and surfaces. It would be a bit lame to fight against probably, but it would still be sick

A skin would be amazing, but leave the crossover characters to HotS since that’s the point of that game
Tho Samus would absolutely be a fun character.

I didn’t think of that! They could probably pull that off - Oh, and the Moira skins which are blatantly inspired by David Bowie’s iconic looks.
Looks? Plural? David Bowie had a black metal look? I have newfound respect for him. Unless you mean the Oasis one. Ha ha ha… I am not sure, I am not really into him.

Oh Samus… that’s the character in super smash bros right? Hahahahah I would DEFINITELY main them. I one trick samus in super smash bros and my sister gets SO MAD (not seriously tho XD) it’s hilarious. Legit whenever the sound “SAMUS” comes as I select samus, I just grin at her
Anyways, yes I would love to see that. I wanna throw ppl off the edge pls!!
