We know it’s marketing reasons.
Mostly around influence, content reach, positive/negative press etc.
But some of them are extremely toxic = possible hedge against bad press or just not.
They know who they’re extending the access/offer to.
Samito was cancelled by the community for a reason - someone already linked the KYS vid.
People get perma-banned for much much less.
But this offer is coming from team4 and confirms who they’re willing to back.
Are we supposed to know who that even is or care? No more name or rank dropping to make someone’s opinions, access, credibility, and influence any more/less valid. That’s literally their mistake.

I’ll just tell you from my experience watching the man play and speak… Kephrii is a pretty laid back, nonchalant fellow who’s probably borderline sociopath because of the nature of streaming and the toll it’s taken on him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he feels he has to live up to that persona forever. All it means is that Kephrii is not excited for new content. I’m telling you now I’ve never seen that man excited for anything
Honestly I never had anything against any streamers. I never really watched Samito, but whenever he’s doing a podcast with flats I really can’t stand him. He always seems like everything he says is more important than anyone else. Seems kinda hotheaded too and irrational at times. He just never shut: up ever. Also told that guy to kill himself in his chat so.
he is def a much better rep than samito.

I watch Samito just because you always get to experience the rage. He cannot help it, and I feel really awkward that it entertains me as much as I does, but I do not lie. Not in my nature. Premium content if you want to watch some extreme salt.

I realise it sounds pedantic, but when trying to discern whether or not Blizzard coerced the CCs to fake positivity it’s an important detail to point out.

It would be nice to see a reset but I doubt that will happen. Flats, Emongg, Kephrii, etc… all good people in their own way. I dont discredit them for being in their position or what they do. There just needs to be a baseline level of communication with everyone. That way theres no empty promises or huge letdowns. As I said before: no reason to upsell something that wasn’t worth hiding in the first place
No XQC, Dafran, or Sinatra? I guess they just weren’t on Samito’s level…
But seriously, thanks for the list. That is quite the group. I honestly do not even recognize some of them which is kind of crazy to me.
A smart marketing team would have some of them say “bad” and most to say “good” just to create an overall signal that isn’t so optimistic it breeds suspicion. It’s an important point some could get different NDA with more leeway for expression and personal opinion.
It’s also important to note that when you survey sample a target audience of your choice (one’s with conflict of interest like making money by making OW content), you are likely to get their opinions to reflect what you are trying to broadcast.
Plus they’re in full control of what is revealed and how it is presented to these influencers. Which they will no doubt do for regular community as well, but with different reveal, time, channels.
All in all it’s a lot of masking which is why ppl are like:

I’m not a samito stan and I’ve barely touched his content in more than a year but people that only see his rage clips and suddenly think they can judge him for them acting like they’re perfect is weirdo behavior
I think it’s guilds, as a quick fix to try and keep the player base happy. Only i think it will make a more toxic environment. Even if your clan works well together, is well run - sooner or later one person is bound to join and create a massive internal divide. Either trying to take over or half the clan will have different visions for how the clan should be run.
Then their is the inevitable disputes between clans, given the already toxic environment a clan feature at this stage I think will be a powder keg.
