Doom needs the CC taken out of his kit. It’s what everyone hates and it’s not even what makes Doom fun for the people who main him.
Bap’s IF will always need a rework, again, it’s what everyone hates about him and it’s not even what makes Bap fun for the people who main him… he’d still be viable even if you removed it from his kit because he has so much else going for him…
Moira just needs a rework in general. She was made to be an entry-level hero yet Bronze-Plat all play Ana anyways because you get 1000x the value from just chucking Nade into clueless enemies running around, instead of playing Moira and getting the occasional lucky Orb kill…

I would say, rework Symmetra. More speicfically- replace the teleport with an actual survive ability tool just like any other hero similar to her in term of range and duration has.
For Roadhog & Zarya, I personally prefer tanks to actually tank and not be a fat dps give Hog a defensive passive that can help its team and let Zarya bubble multiple team members with less hp & energy from each bubble. All in exchange for both of them losing some of their damage.
For Brigitte, bring back armor instead of high healing. It makes much more sense for a support to focus on utility and not on healing especially a support like Brig btw with all of her survive ability considering armor has its counters while healing generally fix anything it can on a living hero.
Moira can get her utility back tbh for less healing per second.
Press on fade= anyone on your team immediately on press get immune to damage and effects for a very short duration while you get the normal fade for yourself.
Idk if it counts as a rework but I would LOVE to see Junkrat getting 2 or even 3 traps in exchange for less hp per trap and higher cool down per trap. (Maybe even damage change but I really prefer not doing so simply for the kill combo)
So except for these 5-6 heroes no other hero I think needs a real rework. Some can use some value changes but only these really need changes to their kits in my opinion.
bastion, he’s either terrible with no shields or good when paired with 2 shields. he also sucks in general
doomfist. he’s annoying to deal with and his entire kit is based off of CC which no one likes, no matter if he’s trash or not. plus there’s so many dps heroes
No so much rework heroes as rework mechanics. Remove the ability to one-shot, relegating it all a minimum of 2-interactions. Maybe give widowmaker specifically the ability to apply a DoT to mimic a one-shot, but it can be saved with high burst healing like ana or barely survive with a mercy
- Make damage beam give a small damage vulnerability
- Either severely cut the stun time of rocket punch of reduce the travel distance. Kinda strange to stop moving, then suddenly die because you still hit a wall with distance behind you seconds after stopping
- Give echo a larger hitbox. Too much burst and extreme mobility with no real downside
- Change mccree’s flashbang to a 0.1s stun with a 2 second disable for mobility abilities
- Reduce helix rocket’s cooldown to 10 seconds and give it a smaller splash radius
Personally I think Zenyatta counters the least other heroes, while being pretty easily countered by the most heroes. I love him, he’s a strong hero, but it feels like I hardly get to play him outside of a last ditch effort on the final push or two, as a surprise damage burst.
People barely play Mei or Doom (except to counter a good Zen), so that would do almost nothing at all, imo.
