I’ve seen diamond/plat matches parse/analysis (youtube) where players played like a silver and gold matches where players played a lot better than that people in the plat. I also saw a plat 2 ashe on my team who missed more than half shots and the doom silver 1 who went, killed 2 people and returning back and repeating. That’s why we want to say “I deserve better rank”. But in reality it is a just marker of how much you won and lost. Winning depends on many factors Someone lucky with that, other one is not.
Edit: yesterday I had two matches where I can’t do anything right because of my freaking provider, but my team could handle this situation and literally saved me and won
