Old torb was literally baby sit your turret all match it wasn’t not boring it was literally braindead easy
I prefer the new one tbh, I love throwing my load on my enemies.
I also loved old Torbjorn more. Set your turret, drop armor packs in key locations, and off to the killing you go. If turret gets damaged - activate ult to instantly repair it and make it more dangerous.
I’d love it if they “revert” back reworked heroes into their old state on at least April Fools, or another kind of event. Just for the luls

I hate most of the reworked heroes, but Torb is one that actually benefited from his rework.

Unsure about it. Almost only good thing is that turret now aims at whoever you shoot. Molten metal, unlike turret, has much smaller AoE, making it easier to avoid.

And everyone can easily know that they’re safe from sentry gun fire for the next 13 seconds, it’s 10 seconds before they can throw a sentry plus another 3 seconds for the next sentry to build. Which as you rightly point out is more than enough time to destroy it.
Why is it that the builder hero is the WORST at building in Overwatch?
Everyone else who can build some sort of object in the world the cooldown begins as soon as the entity is created. Torb is the sole exception.
Why would the devs give him such bad treatment, did they think turret would be especially annoying? Mei walls are annoying and they also have the cooldown begin as soon as the object is made and it’s created instantly, no build time.
And Overload is ANOTHER ability where the cooldown won’t begin until the effect ends, 5 second ability duration then 10 sec cooldown. It doesn’t make sense as an offensive ability as the activation animation negates almost all the advantage in fire rate, activating overload you can fire only 11 shots before the effect ends, you could just fire normally and be able to shoot 9 bolts in the same time.
So every 15 seconds you are able to fire 2 more shots than normal.
Weak.
And the only way to redirect its fire is to land a slow arcing projectile on them. Great, what if you want it to target a pharah above and further back instead of the rein? You have to be able to reliably hit pharah with non-hitscan non-linear attack… if you could do that then what do you need an auto-aim turret for?
Why can’t the right click redirect fire? It’s really easy to hit someone with just one of a load of pellets, it does flip all damage but it’s reliable. Come on Blizzard, that’s a really reasonable buff.
Providing armor was like a mini game. I was good shooting armor to my allies too.
But I really like the new molten core

For me old sym was better, you just had to know how to use her right.

The Overload acts a lot more like the old ultimate (with a twist) and the turret is now able to be kept up much more often.
