Removing choice from your playerbase is always a recipe for disisater and I’m not suprised you’ve now done it to Overwatch aswell. It’s currently 3AM here in the UK and the Qs are now terribly long, This is when I usually go onto NA to ya’know play your game some more? But I can’t even do that anymore. So guess what I do now, I close the game and play something else. Amazing QoL change Blizzard.
I still have region choice in bnet, what is wrong?

ah yes, hello fellow night owl Brit.
I am also experiencing the same issue.
it’s a dead feature now, they removed regions and we now have a “global” server which soft locked everyone to a region, it was a console only thing prior to this update.
I already tried all 3, and it put me on EUR every single time, I spent 5 years playing NA servers… lol

this is very cheap and lazy from Blizzard
they should give console this option not taking it away from PC
also the new story for Ashe is bad
how Man and Woman in the same jail cell???
and the girl is underaged too

Welcome to the console experience, we’ve been region locked from the start. Playing past 11pm in the UK has always meant much longer queue times, and then when you eventually do get a game, you’re the only player who doesn’t speak Arabic and has no idea wtf is going on!
yes it in comp too I had a game on my alt to make sure, it’s so stupid as I play only on NA now I can’t see myself playing at all after this update unless I pay for a vpn.

I’ve bought NordVPN so I have choice again, It’s been nice to actually play again.

Wish I could, I can’t justify paying for a VPN after having full access to data center for 5 yrs
