I don’t think we know yet if she can one shot? Even if she does if it’s designed similar to hawkeye then that’s really good. You can’t just afk a sightline in the back of the map and wait for someone to walk into your crosshair.
Same. Been playing games for years. Overwatch is legit the game that started the constant of high skill floor playstyles in the entire FPS genre. CS is like the final bastion of mechanical skill being king within the community (and I’m not even a fan of CS)
For context, take Team Fortess 2. Sniper hate, Gunspy hate, Scout hate, etc in TF2 never happened really until Overwatch released. But characters like Soldier, Engineer, Heavy (characters with comically low skill floors that even a literal insect could learn in 10 minutes)? They are beloved for some damn reason. Pyro (easiest class in the game) hate has pretty much stopped too, for the most part.
IDK what the hell happened, but this game not only is filled with people with a comical hatred of mechanical skill, its mental sickness has spread to almost every single FPS game released before and after it. And, yes, it should be classified as a disease because I will never consider such a freakshow mindset to be normal.
I can’t speak for TF2, but sniper hate existed long before that game. People loathed snipers in TFC, for example.
As for comical hatred - I think that’s a better fit for the folk who think that hating snipers in games is some sort of mental illness.
I mean I did and it’s still bland and ugly imo. Esp compared to even Halo, or OW.

I’m all for this, and think the Workshop should be/get way better options and tools, as well as dev support. Also that modes from there should be ported over more often, or even have a normal game page for it that isn’t inside the Workshop finder, or a rotating featured mode in Arcade.
I’ll have to see this take more widely on the internet to believe it, maybe you’re the first person I’ve seen it from. Certainly so on here.
I don’t hate you, different strokes. I only hate when people complain OW is too MOBA or when the game is ‘too slow’ considering it’s not a pure FPS and never will be. I don’t like the skew towards pandering to FPS bros when the FPS heroes get handheld imo, or even objectively with the cartoon balloon OW2 hitboxes. I’d say make the hitboxes tighter than OW1 and you’ll earn my respect for that great headshot.

I mean I’ve talked to close IRL female friends who played CS and COD and they had to stop talking for obvious reasons. One of them told me their husband had no idea women got it that bad (maybe he wasn’t the brightest bulb in the box) and he was really sad and apologetic to her for it when they started playing together.
I mean, OW2’s hitboxes are the size of Steamboat Willie’s steamboat, so that’s probably why people say mechanical skill in OW is trash. You also have players from all walks of video games, so there naturally will be culture wars. I personally prefer outthinking my opponent vs outgunning them, but one could argue Ball requires a ton of a specific kind of mechanical skill that simply doesn’t exist in most other games. Yet if you’re good on Ball, it’s not like hitscan players recognize it. You’re not babysitting them with a big fat dumb shield so they hate you, and I hate them right back because the other team’s pew pewers are wiping the floor with them because they haven’t discovered corners yet.

Yeah, was playing this weekend for the Drives and I finally snapped because of Widow, not giving another cent until that hero is dealt with (and by dealt with I mean the “farm”)
It will be a dream come true for me
Unfortunately…they wont use a Scarlett Johansson model look alike 
(Probably too creepy since yea…the rule of 34 will be a sure thing with that game)

This is less of a problem in SEA servers idk about na , even in ow there is rarely toxicity towards a player cause they are female.
There will be normal ow fights though from time to time.
That said you won’t have many women in cs, but you will find a lot of good groups from Thailand, Taiwan and sk .

Ah, it’s a different world over here. Imagine growing up never getting the slipper/belt/cooking spoon. The kids here say almost whatever they want, and it seeps into adulthood. ‘Manchild’ is a good word for it, and it’s rampant.
I guess CD/trans people play CS/COD here, too, it’s just not nearly as common, I don’t think.
At any rate, some of the CS/COD culture here is disgusting, and it pushes people away (including me, along with how ugly the games look). Didn’t know you were from SEA though, I’m a fan of Uncle Roger

I say whatever I want and I got the belt. And cold showers. And Tabasco sauce, for some reason? I think my grandma thought it was burning me, but I actually love hot sauce. She could make me chug ghost pepper sauce and all it would have done was inspired me to break the law.

You’re a sweet&sensitive boi who is lovely to most people on here, I think it’s just your personality. Also depending on how old you are, children had way more rights in the 2000s than they did in the 80s.

Widow will always be busted as long as she can one shot outside of her ult. You have clips of widows litterally 1v5ing the whole enemy team outside of ult over and over again simply because the enemy team doesn’t want to hug the wall for 90% of the match.
Widow should only be able to 1 shot in her ult or with a mercy pocket. That way its a trade off because for Mercy to stay back with the widow she wouldn’t be close enough to help her team most of the time. Thus it wouldn’t be worth it to be down a support unless your widow is completely cracked.

Widow just makes the game unfun. People want to brawl not walk out and get 1 shot, no other character in the game forces map control as much as widow and that’s a ridiculous premise for a dps role character.
