The only skillful part about the new Sym is the fact that you have to know every single TP spawn point on every map so you can get 3 turrets through your TP at once when you place it rather than spamming them after you placed the TP. Otherwise, there is really nothing skillful about the new Sym.
And the assassin trick you’re talking about is super easy. It’s harder to hit a Bastion with Widow.
