You are right, I have an itch to try Ana

I tried Mercy ONCE and got bullied LOL

That’s interesting, when you say you were bullied as mercy, do you mean verbally… or by players just chasing you down in-game?

Mercy can often be hard targeted since she can rez a team mate, so that’s something to be aware of. But also, a lot of people will complain that no one ever shoots at her since she can fly around, so you might find you get matches where you feel free to do whatever you want.

Ana, with her sleep and anti-nade can do a lot for the team. Again, I don’t play support, but when I think of friends who do, Ana seems like one of the heroes where more game knowledge would really benefit you, so maybe set learning her as a stretch goal… or learn her in bits and pieces along the way as you try others.

All that said, it all comes down to you and what you have fun with… so take everything I say with a grain of salt. :dove:

It’s so funny because this is how I was as well. Growing up gaming, I was always a DPS player (on WoW specifically) up until the later days of Cataclysm, to which I switched to Discipline Priest and had so much fun.

Ever since then, I have mainly played healer/support in every game. Even during OW1’s release, I tried to be a Reaper main because I thought his edgy personality was funny, but inevitably gravitated heavily towards Mercy because she reminded me of Holy Priest in WoW, including Mass Resurrection being in both games at the time.

More recently, I have branched out to more DPS heavy supports and have been aiming SO well on Ana (I ended a match with 3k damage, 12k healing and 84% scoped accuracy…) that I feel I can’t ALWAYS waste that potential on Mercy; although, I do quite a hefty amount of Battle Mercy these days as well.

Being able to find a main really does make the game feel more whole, and I’m glad you found yours! Eventually you’ll probably play more of the cast and give yourself breaks, but it took me 2,000 hours of Mercy to REALLY start playing other supports more often, hahaha.

Was in a qp game where a Tracer decided to pulse bomb me on bap while I already had immo field active. And forgot to recall. :skull:

Tanks chasing me down, lol!

I don’t really like that but well, guess it’s another learning curve. I don’t think I’ll use it!

There’s some people who you kill and they make it their life choice to have revenge on you, and that’s funny cause they disregard their team and chase you down LOL

Maybe I’ll do that, there some cool support characters out there!

That’s why I don’t play reaper, lol! Reminds me of my ā€œemo phaseā€ D:

It actually does, because you have fun wether you win or lose, plus, I am getting a few endorsements! Maybe I’m doing something right :joy:

Feels good when you finally discover your main huh?

When you finally drop that ā€œcool factorā€ and find what meshes and bonds with you naturally.

It’s funnt really since most OW players won’t find this joy or they try forcing it too hard that it becomes a fruitless endeavor.

Oh the joys of really finding that true character that fits you, feels like you, that truely depicts you as a player. An individual.

Its seriously like discovering a long lost piece of yourself. That is how you know that hero is your main.

It’s an unspoken feeling where you just know and understand it where no one else can explain it or experience it themselves.

It truely is an enlightening moment.

Cheers Moira main. I hope to see you ingame.

You have NO idea how many games I have won because people were chasing me into Narnia instead of touching the point when the clock was ticking.

It was never just a phase for me…

Everything is a phase for you hammer man.

Sadly I’m still in my angsty hamptur phase where everything makes me hangry.

I’ve had this happen too many times, or vice versa, where I’m too busy being chased down or too low health to realize I needed to touch and we lose. :joy:

Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage!

I was going to be one of those players! Got SUPER sad and angry and was gonna quit until I started playing her! Now, if only I could find a DPS LOL

It does! I don’t know how to explain it, but it feels nice… I should read on her lore… Eventually… If I don’t forget xD

I’m still a little bit emo… Just a tid bit…

Oh she sure is fun alright

[Moira Fake Fades are OP! (youtube.com)](https://)

but trully mastering her mobility is the difference between having fun with Moira, and Great Moiras carrying games =)

carrying games

and being a complete nightmare for he enemy team xD

Definitely not me, I’m too clean.

I mean, I totally meant to blink off the map when my target faced me, forcing a recall because I’m pure mind gaming my enemies. That’s why I then full send push at them when they least expect it to fini-oh, I got deleted. That was sooo unlucky, I’ll get them next time.

Haters gonna hate

Puts on her sunglasses and accidentally pokes her eye

Yeah Moira is one of the Zero Skill Heroes. Try playing her in no limits when everyone on the team can be Moira. The other teams leaves quickly or they all pick dva

You need a little bit of skill aiming her orbs!

I think

I like ejecting orbs into small rooms and watching them bounce around like ping-pong balls. Fun :sunglasses:
