Not as long as the hero you’re playing caters to your playstyle and has as high of a skill ceilling as possible.
Ie as long as it’s fun.
If tf2 thought me something is that a little guy with a shotgun and double jump can keep me entartained for 3000+ hours.

Do you want to climb though? If you want to it’s simple if you fix your setup and put in focussed training for widow.
The only thing I would say is I was like this in rocket league 1.3k hrs gold who was having fun playing rumbe and stuff, then i decided to get good with focussed training and guidance got to diamond then GC in 6 months.
Then in a few months quit the game, cause of burnout and the highest rank in the game was just less fun cause people were so intent on winning some would have streamer ambition, some would be streamers looking for content, some would be grinding.
If you did any freestyling you would get yelled at whole game even if you were good.
(This was pre era before cloud9 won first time with gimmick doing freestyling in finals).
So freestyling was equated to throwing even if you are good cause some streamer said so.
I haven’t gone back to game since.

Depends on the hero and how much you want to experiment with them, hanzo and tracer never get boring there is always something new to do and learn even though they have simple kits.

oh heh i havnt played comp “seriously” in about 3 years. dont plan on it so yea i just play casually. quickplay warrior here. i think i do well tho since i have a 51 percent winrate on widow in all modes 
over 40,000 final blows in what 7 years… kinda feel sorry for the thousands i ended

I would bump into them on NA servers frequently. Haven’t seen them since OW1 though, but they may have changed their name or even quit.

I think this might be the same person I’m talking about actually. They have the same Mercy/Tracer as their 2nd and 3rd most played heroes as well as the vast majority of their playtime in the customs game browser (possibly just farming Dva hours afk).
Did their battletag start with the letter P?

This is true, i had 700 hrs on D.Va on Ow 1 and even after a whole year has passed im at 650 hours D.Va in OW 2

For me it’s around 1300? hrs on zarya, the 2nd most played is d.va with 60 hours lol. Wish I was in americas to vs you in qp!! (and flats, love that guy he’s so awesome, by far my favorite streamer and his stack in general is awesome), you guys seem chill and most people in my region are horrible and rude even in QP lol.

20,661 hours is 8 hours a day every day for 7 years. The game browser hours suggest a lot of this might be AFK though.

Yeah hard to say exactly how much, but even if you ignore all of their custom game time, >5K hours is still so much :S

Everyone lost some hours when they transitioned to OW2 due to older comp season data being deleted. I’m not sure on this, but I think (?) hours continue to be subtracted each time they delete past comp seasons. QP hours seem to be preserved. It’s what I’ve mostly played all this time. Of my own 3500+ hours of total D.Va time, I only ever lost a few hundred because of how fed up I was with playing comp, lol.
OW2 really put the brakes on my accumulation of hours though. I just can’t stand playing this game anymore, even after trying to adjust and adapt for months. I want OW1 back.
