Cod, huntsman sniper, easy mode soldier

And on sha lin hanzo stole his rapid fire.

No no i get that of course from these 2 games they are ultra mega influenced by the rest of the gaming world. But we are talkin about 2 extremely and suspiciosly alike games here and comparing them both. Remember when Ramattra came out and paladins just had released an extremely similar looking hero? Purple color palette and all?

It may be just some symbiotic relationship, with the 2 feeding off of eachothers ideas and whatnot

So 2 things are similar what about sombra overwatch took skye from paladins

Idk, i played paladins, found a hero that I wished was in overwatch(blue floating guy, ultimate is hanzos dragon but instant). but I still prefer my other backup games.

Hearthstone namely, its very easy to be casual, and they just added a special kind of card pack so if you havent played, its easy to get cards fast. Ofc, its only for a certain type of player, but I enjoy it.

Paladins just seems too much like overwatch. and as much as I love overwatch, I also hate it…

Games that draw inspiration from each other are common, and have been for a long time.
When the inspiration is good, why shouldn’t it be done?
On the contrary: passing on good things from one game to another is the best thing that can happen.

What did i just say hahsah. I’m not against you or Paladins

That’s respectable of you. :+1:

If over time it’s more Overwatch that influenced Paladins than the opposite, it’s normal, the number of people working on these games is totally different, and it’s not Hi-Rez who had more people on his game (but rather +10 times fewer).

You can’t ask a small indie studio for the same work as a megacorporation like ABK.

Yet paladins has near double the character with talents and cards. I think overwatch might be the indie company

Yeah fair point, the customization from all aspects is completly behind Paladins.

And then again, Actually decent grind, not the measly 60 weekly coins

I think thats my biggest problem with the ow2 devs is the pve and tlaking about how hard talents are while paladins has more character and 3 levels of character customization like im sorry thats just wild to me

My personal feelings: I like Overwatch 2 and Paladins each for their unique features, and I’m not trying to pit them against each other, or compare them.

I play the one I like the most at the time I’m playing it, and I don’t worry about whether I’d be better off playing the other one.

problem is the ow2 devs promised so much and just didn’t deliver

Yeah, Paladins is a blast. It’s also a lot less competitive.

I’m just always scared they’re going to kill it so it’s hard to get invested sometimes.

The few influencers who are still on this game think that it will die completely in mid 2024 or early 2025 with a shutdown of the servers.

Eyyyy Pawsitivity, haven’t seen you in a while!

I don’t think they will, they know damn well that if they do they might end up even worse than OW, not only that but also they can see what OW is lacking season to season and actually make it into their game
