I was rewatching the dev debate on the group up podcast and noticed somithing interesting. At 27:25 in the video aaron says it tough when people leave matches however he spicifically says"theres still 11 other players in the match" now put your tinfoil hats on but 11 meaning 12 before the leaver meaning 6 vs 6. If he was refering 5v5 he would have said 9 other players. Accident absolutely. Slip of the tongue 100%. But its interesting to see what he’s actually thinking about.

I mean i know they confirmed 6v6 is coming back but its still interesting to think that the lead designer still quotes the now unused for two years player count.

In a discussion about 6v6 to mention 12 instead of 10 players is normal. Its not a blog post where they specifically wrote it and not corrected it and rather a slip up. Dont think too much about it.
